I have eaten at BOTH PIE.ZAA locations before. The food is delicious and I am a big fan, so it really hurts my heart to write such a poor review, but the way I was treated last night at this PIE.ZAA was beyond terrible. I placed an order online at 9:11 pm for THREE Get Baked slices. Overall, my order total was 32$. I was at work and getting out late so I placed it for pick up at 11:15 pm. Admittedly, I get there a little later around 11:45, but I still expected my food to be ready. However when I get there they say they “sold out” of the get baked pie and only had a cheese and pepperoni left for me to pick from. I explained I placed my order 2 hours ago, but they still said they “sold out” and that was what was left. A man in the background said they stopped making pizzas 10 minutes before I got there, which would have been 11:35. Again, my order pickup time was for 11:15, so three slices of pizza should have been set aside between the time I ordered and the time I went to pick it up. I do not like pepperoni, so they sent me home with ONE single cheese slice, since I was so hungry, I didn’t want to leave empty handed. However, I should not have to spend $32 on the flavors I didn’t ask for. This was beyond frustrating because I just came out of a double shift from MY food service job, where I was packing orders and making sure they were accurate for the customers. So when I was treated with less than what I JUST spent 12 hours doing made me BEOYND upset. These three slices were gonna be my dinner tonight AND my Thanksgiving meal. This was ALSO a 40 minute round trip for me, so this experience was a waste of time, gas, and money. The service tonight was absurd, and I did contact PIE.ZAA to get my FULL refund back.
EDIT: I have contacted PIE.ZAA for my refund. I will be getting my refund as well as a 25$ gift card. Customer service via email was a much better experience. They explained to me that since Hurricane Helene, they have been making only pepperoni and cheese pizzas late at night. Special pies like the Get Baked pie are not made to minimize overconsumption. I wish that was explained to me by the employees, but I understand that it was late, as well as the night before a holiday. I had just gotten out of my own food service job which I mentally checked out of hours ago. So, I completely understand the feeling. Maybe, if there was a way to turn off ordering the specialty pies passed a certain time online, it would make things less confusing. I know there are ways to do it on other ordering systems, but I am not sure about smaller locations such as PIE.ZAA.
Either way, I am glad the situation was sorted, and I’ll be making great use of the $25 gift card. I’ll just try to go in a little earlier next time so I can snag a Get...

Rating: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
From the moment my service animal, Elmo, and I paw-stepped into Pie-zaa, we knew we were in for a treat. Celebrating Elmo's first birthday could not have been more delightful, thanks to the warm hospitality and pet-friendly atmosphere of this charming pizza shop.
The ambiance was inviting and lively, with a vibrant crowd that echoed the spirit of community. The staff greeted Elmo with the same enthusiasm as any other guest, making us feel exceptionally welcome. It's not every day you find a place that goes above and beyond to accommodate furry friends.
But let's talk pizza - the star of the show! Served fresh and piping hot, the pizza boasted a perfect blend of crispy crust, melty cheese, and a symphony of flavors that made each bite better than the last. It wasn't just food; it was an experience. The giant pepperoni pizza, displayed proudly on a raised stand, was not only a feast for the taste buds but also made for a great birthday photo-op with Elmo.
The joy was palpable as Elmo, in his stylish yellow jacket, reveled in the attention and festivities. His birthday was made extra special by the Pie-zaa team, who ensured everything was spot-on, from service to setting.
If you're looking for a place that serves up delicious pizza with a side of exceptional customer service and a pet-friendly policy that's as genuine as it gets, look no further than Pie-zaa. Whether it's a casual dinner or a milestone celebration like Elmo's, this spot is sure to leave you and your four-legged companions with full bellies and happy hearts.
Thank you, Pie-zaa, for making Elmo's first birthday a memorable one. We'll definitely be back for more...
Read moreFirst time guest. Tiny bit difficult finding parking. We went in. Ordered at the counter. Very friendly staff! I ordered a garden slice of pizza. My husband ordered a slice of sausage pizza with a drink (thinking it was pink lemonade). We had no idea that what he actually ordered for his drink was a can of beer. (In large letters the can said pink lemonade, but in small letters it said beer, which we missed reading.) He realized it, once we sat down and he opened it. Since we don't drink alcohol, we didn't realize we had to ask beforehand if it contained alcohol. Our mistake (we simply threw it away since we had already opened it). I had mistakenly imagined the garden pizza was loaded with veggies. I wasn't impressed when I saw my slice. Yes, it did have veggies, but very scant in portion, in contrast to other garden (veggie) pizzas I've had from other restaurants. Being a $7 slice of pizza, I did not expect a tiny portion of veggies for the price paid, it just wasn't very filling (it did have lots of cheese and dough). It tasted more like a slice of cheese pizza. (Also.. my pizza crust was quite burnt; my husband's slice was dripping with oil.) They did not provide a fork and knife, nor a straw for our canned drinks. I admire that though. Perhaps they are minimalists that are conserving on plastic waste, which is good! Tip: If you go and eat it there though, bring your own fork, knife, and straw, IF you use it. I probably wouldn't return. Being a vegetarian, it didn't fill my appetite. They were very friendly people though. I'd go back again if their garden slice simply had a bit more amount of veggies. We spent a total of about $27 for 2 slices of pizza, 2 drinks, and 1...
