2nd time in the store and sooo many people are so rude and unpleasant here. They just act miserable too. Is this the new norm?? It’s so sad bc Chipotle use to be one of my favorite places to eat lunch or takeout dinner. And the food was actually good tonight. They actually had every ingredient, which is rare nowadays too. My experience tonight: They start by saying 2 or 3 tacos. The menu just says kids tacos $5.55. Why is this even a question? Then I say just whatever comes for $5.55. He looks at me like I’m crazy and grabs me 2. She asks, what 3 sides would you like. I say corn, salsa and rice. They bag it up to check me out and I say, what about the protein? They say, we asked you what sides you wanted. Of course I’m like, well these food items here are called sides, then you have protein options. Just like every time you get food anywhere really and even burritos here. Lady says, yeah I get that a lot everyday. I’m like, why would you keep saying the same confusing thing if it doesn’t make sense to most people? She acts like it’s my fault and gives me chicken w attitude, of course bc I deserved that lol. My son wanted food last minute that’s why we went through that amazing experience in line but I ordered online. I asked about my pickup order and she says oh yeah, they’re making it now. after they were all just playing and having a good old time for 5min or so and not really doing much, I ask again. My order had been ready and getting stale just sitting on the shelf. Management needs to be fired here. You can’t charge restaurant prices for fast causal food AND treat people like they’re upset you’re there spending your hard earned money. And mess it up and lack basic communication skills. I don’t see how they...
Read moreMy mother and I are on the Keto diet and were excited to learn that Chipotle had a keto-friendly option, the 'Wholesome Bowl with carnitas'.... Only wish I had read the reviews before going here.
Of course, they had no idea what the Wholesome Bowl was (which we expected, you know), but they just didn't want hear it at all. The whole vibe emanating from the staff was equivalent to a massive eye roll 🙄 while we read out what was in the bowl from the Chipotle website. Not pleasant or welcoming at all.
-They tried to tell us they didn't have vegetables when literally they were in the midst of preparing them for the bar (which took them a whole minute to do). -Let me tell you, neither of us had meat in our bowl! I had, no lie, a small fork worth. And the bite I did have, was gross. Which is already disappointing, but especially so when you're on keto (and fasting). Not to mention, that we paid more for carnitas. Huge letdown; My mother was charged a whopping $4.60 for e̶x̶t̶r̶a̶ no meat! -Then they tried to charge us extra for guac (which is the standard, we're aware). However, for the Wholesome Bowl, it's literally listed as an ingredient for the bowl. We showed them this, but they still charged us $5.70 extra! -Then it was difficult finding even a clean table 😖. -The food itself was skimpy and gross 🤢.
The whole experience was unsatisfactory. We're never coming back here again, and tbh, it'll probably be a good long while before we step foot in a...
Read moreI honestly don’t know why I kept giving this location so many chances, but today was the last straw. The restaurant itself was a mess. So many dirty tables, trash around the drink station, and an unclean bathroom with no paper towels. When I told an employee entering the bathroom that the paper towels were out, he just rolled his eyes and walked in without grabbing any. So IF he washed his hands, he definitely didn’t dry them properly which is a clear health code issue.
They were out of the featured honey chipotle chicken. Whatever, not a huge deal, but the rest of the meat options looked dry and like they’d been sitting out all day. I barely got any rice or beans, and to make it worse, the worker piled on an absurd amount of sour cream, like nearly half the bowl. When I asked for just a little more corn, they got an attitude.
The way my food was put together was careless, and the employees body language and facial expressions made it clear they didn't want to be there. The only person who showed any level of decent customer service was the one working the register. I get it, work sucks. But at least try to have some pride in your work?
Overall, the place feels like it’s run with zero oversight or care. I don't care how convenient the location is to my home or job, I’ll drive out of my way...
