This place is sooooooo out-dated as far as the exterior of the building BUT upon arrival our server was at our car door to promptly offer us a menu and to take our drink orders. As we perused the menu (very good pricing!) our drinks arrived withing a couple minutes. We gave her our order (I ordered grilled ham and cheese with fries and a chocolate milkshake. My guy ordered a couple coney dogs, loaded cheese fries, and a root beer float. We also got a hotdog for our bulldog Leo.
The food came out much quicker than we anticipated and it was all so good! The fries are fresh-cut, and paired with malt vinegar, I was instantly pleased.y grilled ham and cheese wasn't what I expected because it came on a bun and didn't look grilled, but it was toasty and tasty. My guy loved all his food and I noticed the loaded cheese fries had fresh bacon and the serving was enough for two people.
We took a Sunday drive and this place is about 30 miles from where we live but I do plan on going back! We give this place 5 stars. The prices, service, and food was all...
Read moreExtremely rude staff and from I gathered manager or owner. This was our 3rd extremely bad experience. Not only did the first time our food had hair in it and the girl said- oh would you like to buy more? Then the second time- the waitress/car hop was so busy talking to a group of guys- she never put our order in. Then was trying to laugh it off while my kids were hungry. This third time- the waitress was barely paying attention- waving at another person- someone she knew I assume- and messed up our order. When I told whoever was on the phone she was VERY rude. So ruined our entire family meal. Horrible owner. Horrible staff. The new owners clearly aren’t handling the stress and business well. A friend also was here recently and recieved cold/frozen on the inside food. When a customer who comes here OFTEN calls- maybe try being nice. It’s not hard and if you can’t please sell it to...
Read moreBeen going there for years (live in the area) but today as I was waiting for my drive thru order a guy pulled up out back, parked in the middle of the lot, got out of the car with his little doggie in hand and went inside. This wouldn't be really notable EXCEPT for the fact that there is no indoor seating and the door he went in is for the FOOD PREPARATION AREA!?!?!? I asked the girl ar the drive thru window about it and she just said "well, he is the owner"
My reply was "I don't really care WHO he is.... I dont see the humor in someone's pocket pooch in there! I would think if he's the OWNER he'd be a lot more concerned with a commercial food prep area!!??!!??"
I'm no germaphobe by a LONG stretch.... but a dog in the kitchen of a restaurant is a bit much folks.
Likely will be our last stop there for the...
