Bob Evans — Restaurant in Ashland

I have been to many Bob Evans around the state and I have to say this is definitely the worst one that I have been to yet. The servers and staff are very pleasant, they took care of me pretty quick and had a smile. The food itself was okay, the chicken was definitely over done and a little crispy on the edges. The overall appearance inside the restaurant is very worn out and in need of some TLC especially the bathroom. The men's bathroom was moderately dirty but had a very strong aroma and you had to hold your breath and get in and out as quickly as you could without breathing. I would say that I have been in much better truck stops for sure. The parking lot is pretty big, you can most likely fit a small trailer or camper in here as long as it is not Peak rush and full of cars. It is easy in and easy out on State Route 250 and positioned pretty close to the freeway just a couple minutes down the road. If you're looking for a place to eat it is going to take care of your needs, I really feel that someone needs to start paying a little more attention to the overall upkeep of the building and perhaps some replacement of different fixtures within the building. In the past month, I've stopped at this Bob Evans twice. I should have learned my lesson after the first time and never went back the second time. There was 5 of us both times we went and both times we did not get what we ordered and half the food was cold when we got it. The waitress was very apologetic about our order being so screwed up. I told her it wasn't her fault. Filed a complaint with magnament but nothing came out of it. Figured we would try it again 2 weeks kamet but it was even worse this time around. The food was cold again. And again we only got part of what we ordered and when they bought us some of it like the loaded fries they were cold like they thrubin microwave for 30 seconds and was much cheese ar toppings on it. The eggs were cold and slimy as well as still didn't get parts of our orders. The waitress was really bad this time to. When we complained this time she stayed away from us. We went on their website and there were alot of complaints about their food and service won't be going there anymore. By the way I still paid for the dinners so don't think I wanted to just...

By far the worst customer service at any Bob Evans and that’s saying a lot since they have all gone down hill over the last couple years. It took 5 minutes to be greeted at the door. Once sat, we did not see a waitress period nor were we approached by the closest waitress serving another table. My husband had to actually get up and whistle yell in to the kitchen in order to get one of the servers huddled in a group to take notice. Waitress finally approached and took our orders and never returned with our drinks. After a totally unacceptable amount of time (more than 20 min) we finally got up and left.
