Okay so it's 7:00. I want to pick up some rice to go with what I already had for dinner. I come here often and they charge me $5 for a large to-go container of rice today. There's a different girl. She charged me $8 and there's hardly any rice in here. Not even worth $8 I had my son go and get the rice for me because I am disabled. When he came back to the car with the bag I felt how light it was and was like what the heck. So I looked in and there's hardly any rice at all. Like I cannot express this enough. There's not even enough rice to call a side dish. I will never come back here.
Ps update. We went back to ask why their portions got so low and the prices got so high and she was rude to us. So unbelievably rude and she told my son for us. That's all we get. Then began talking crap about us in Spanish as we walked away. Word of advice next time you bad mouth your customers make sure they don't speak Spanish. I will never ever ever come back here. You want good Mexican food? Go to the Mexican restaurant near Safeway. They're amazing. Don't even bother with this food truck....

Pelayos in Seaside, OR and their Food cart in Astoria are BOTH serving FRESH, authentic, Hispanic cuisine from tacos and burritos to combination plates. It doesn't matter if you're just a little hungry or needing to feed a family sized appetite, this food is affordable, filling and homemade with all fresh ingredients. They are a local family owned and operated restaurant with good food at good prices. They honor special dietary requests and are super friendly and helpful.
