On my visit to Tokyo Teriyaki on September 3, 2023, I found the overall experience to be satisfying, though not without some room for improvement. I ordered the beef ramen, which was flavorful and enjoyable, if not particularly groundbreaking. The broth had a comforting, umami taste, and the beef was tender, but it lacked a distinct or memorable flavor and perfect noodles I enjoyed in Okinawa.

Service at Tokyo Teriyaki was commendable, with the staff being attentive and friendly throughout my meal. The cashier/waiter took care to ensure that my dining experience was pleasant.

The atmosphere of the restaurant was comfortable but somewhat plain. While the interior was clean and well-maintained, the decor didn't convey a unique ambiance, and the seating layout felt a bit utilitarian. It was a casual setting, perfect for a quick and satisfying meal, but it lacked the distinctive charm that could elevate the overall experience.

In summary, Tokyo Teriyaki delivers a solid dining experience with its quality food and attentive service, despite its somewhat ordinary atmosphere. If you're looking for a reliable spot for a tasty meal and good customer care, this restaurant should be on your list. Just don't expect an extraordinary environment or particularly...

Ok, we ADORE this place. Fabulous teriyaki. The Chicken Thigh plate is one of my favorites. And an accidental favorite, the pork fried rice that we accidently received (instead of Pork Teriyaki) when we called in an order (remember to speak succinctly and distinctly, ordering the way the menu describes it), anyway this pork fried rice is unlike any other we've had, delicious chunks of pork, veggies, bit of whole fried egg, YUMMMM, we get it every time now.

If you go in for sit-down, try the bento box. They really do it right. You might have to wait a bit, but its wonderful and executed delightfully.

To-go is served in earth-friendly boxes; but they'll put it in a plastic bag unless you bring your own.

Serving portions are a bit on the small side, prices a bit higher than typical. But the quality is worth it to us.

Admittedly, havent tried much of the sushi selection here apart from whats included in the bento box.

The owner/operator is gracious and friendly.

And BONUS, unlike MANY teriyaki places across the northwest they are OPEN on SUNDAYS. Yes you read that...

Rotten fish. Theres no nice way of saying this. Be careful if you are ordering the sushi. I .Have been going here for years and loved the food espessially the sushi. But today it made me throw up into my motel room garbage can. I have eaten a lot of sushi and never had tasted any this rancid in my life. What i got today was old definatly far from fresh. Straight up rancid. Im extreamly disappointed and sad to say i will not be coming here again. The food here was once the best i had ever had but is now sadly the worst. Im not the type of person to write reviews and even more so not the type to bash a resteraunt but this is serious and could cause food poisoning. this hit my heart..i loved this place it was a tradition and i literally have tears in my eyes because of the history and memories made visiting this place and eating great food making great memories. Those days are over. I will never get that fishy rancid taste out of my mouth. I may have food poisoning because i have thrown up once more and am experiencing stomach pain. I am so so sad and dissapointed sick and...

Very small from outside and I would of missed it if thier wasn't traffic, I went to bank and drove by it and thought let me try this place, when I came in had quite a bit of seating to my surprise was very unique for the atmosphere that it presented from the inside . Food was great I ordered yakisoba noodles and chicken bowl and got 2 eggs forgot to tell them how wanted them cooked, got a fried rice on the side. Was way to much food for me was more hungry when came in, so took fried rice with me and the 2 eggs, so great way to have food for later. So was nice little joint that was great believe the server was Matthew and he was very polite and knew quite a bit of the menu and great personality. Spent about a little under 30 bucks but was nice. Owners wasn't thier at that time but they made a nice place to feed anyone looking for Japanese food, but teriyaki and sushi is thier game here.

Altho I’m traveling through and not able to come back soon, I hope that this criticism is received constructively. The sushi rice needs a lot of work and the soy sauce brand needs to be Kikkoman or lee kum kee! Sushi rice can’t be served warm like it was and less, wayyy less, is more! The restaurant itself is quaint and bleeds passion for Japanese culture with the wall and item decor, old school anime posters, Japanese music, and imported drinks. Nice taste in beverages there! The gentleman who handles orders (the owner?) is perfectly fluent in Japanese too and has lived there. I hope the photo and box arrangement I posted helps draw customers but it will be misleading if the rice isn’t fixed and please stop serving such low-quality soy sauce with those red and yellow packs by Double Hi. It’s just the worst brand of soy sauce out there in all regards.
