American Deli — Restaurant in Atlanta

Just left this location:1st of all they close at 8:30p vs 9 pm …I ordered in time, Sat & waited aprox 10 minutes - wings were hot but soft like they had been baked or even boiled. I asked the cashier if they could drop them back in the grease, cashier stated that’s how they are cooked unless you ask for extra crispy. I responded that I would expect them to be regular crispy 🥴 at least,cashier said they were closed it was aprox 8:28p - ppl that had walked in - they also told them they were closed…I didn’t like the texture and I also couldn’t trust that they were cooked to proper temperature. Cashier said they couldn’t , also cook had walked up and I asked him and he just looked at me and walked off …cool. Refund - 1st and last time - plus they don’t have Phillies and salads 🥴 Also watched the cashier get curved after he or she tried to “hollla” at the lady patron 😹 Better luck next time - focus on better customer service instead of trying to get patron’s phone numbers… As an ATL native - decades of American Deli - easily the worst one! Still baffled that they don’t sell Phillies & salads! Change...

Called in to place an order but the cashier named Tonya was very ghetto and unprofessional. I asked what flavors they had. She asked what do I want. I said I don’t know what flavor that’s why I’m asking what flavors you have. She said all flavors. That was the 2nd thing that got on my nerves. When I asked what all flavors were she started to go through them very fast so I couldn’t clearly hear them. I asked for her to slow down and then she says look, I’m between break and helping customers and all that. Then she says you have to come in cause we don’t do orders over the phone. I asked to speak to the manager and she claimed she was the manager.

When people call in to order most people are trying to get food for their break so they don’t have much time. A lot of this nonsense coulda been avoided. I really like their food but I sincerely hope they get better...

Man. I love American Deli. It’s easily my favorite wing place in Atlanta. This location though? I live right around the corner and would rather get in my car and drive to another one than walk in here most of the time. The heavy set black lady who is usually there really has no type of customer service. Just rude and nasty, always. Almost every time I come here she is getting into an argument with a customer. If you have a question, she will get nasty with you in her typical passive aggressive manner. Her getting out of her chair to take your order is such an inconvenience to her time. Funny thing is most complaints about this location revolve around her, I don’t know how she’s employed.

The food though? On point, always. The cooks in the back are back there cooking up magic every time. 10 star food, negative 10 stars for...
