Pro: • Quick to get me in a chair • Had a cute book with nail colors that you can sit and choose from instead of standing up and browsing on a rack. Booklet was only 2 pages - a left side and right side of nail colors with some on the right page not filled out with colors Consistency is not the same here. So getting a good nail tech once is not probs going to happen if you come back • Leg massage: Consisted of only rubbing lotion on the front of me legs and hardly rubbed/ massaged the back • Towel was lazily draped over legs compared to others. Other people had the towel hugging their legs and toes but my was half tossed on my legs covering only from front ankle to bottom of my knees. Back legs got nothing and so did my actual feet. • My husband got a more through massage than I did - rubbing lotion on the front of my legs for a minute or less compared to rubbing and massaging lotion of the whole leg for a couple minutes • Towel massage for my husband: the towel was draped over his legs and rubbed up and down 3 times then taken off. The lady next to me had her Towel draped and wrapped around her legs and feet, they squeezed the towel on her legs and let it stay there for a while. I think they need to have a better system in place of once you finish nails do x,y, z. • Started with clipping nails and sanding them down? Other people started with having feet in the water or putting feet in bowl then filling up. I was confused as to what their system is • My nail tech left without telling me how long to sit, where to go to pay and or helping me in my shoes (which is fine not everyone does it) however the nail tech for my husband told him to wait in his chair for 5 min before getting up and I was just kinda left in the blind • When a lady came up to us to ask if we wanted to pay we said yes, and she just stood there. So she asked again if we wanted to pay and I said yes we'd like to pay and she stood there. I asked if I need to go to the front or pay here then she told me that we can pay sitting down. I was co fused as to what to do as places usually ask you if you want to pay sitting and they'll bring the check or pay when you leave. Experience: • Cleaning my toes: I could still see dirt under some nails, the edges weren't cleaned up • the emory board was gently placed over my toes and skin as a quick one two stoke gave them the final polish that was missing instead of individual attention - but I'm guessing that comes with a more expensive package? • I asked my nail tech to get the sides of my big toes because they were in-grown and to clean the dirt left over that he missed when cleaning them the first time - he started talking to the person next to him rolling his eyes at me and then looking back at her and kind of mubling under his breath with his coworker. Yeah, not the friendlest when it comes to feedback on your toes but they definitely talk about you and roll their eyes at you if you don't like the work. • My nail tech didn't extend the nail polish all the way down my nail so when I gave it a lookover he already left with all the tools. Didn't get a chance to ask him to put a bit more polish before he left. • For reference I had the young man with the buzcut and hoop earrings Overall thoughts: • 3/5 • Cute salon • Service overall kinda sucked. They still have gaps to fill in to be more efficient. Some things they can do to help: be consistent from 1 nail tech to the other. Have a set way of doing x,y,z service. • For the area that's its in, I was expecting a great service like the name suggests. It also seems like if you're a regular you get a nice job but if you're new then it'll not be as nice-just what I've gathered from reviews • Nail service was meh, if I need my nails done for an event and want a nice relaxing time I'd prob not go here. If I want to get in and out for an okay job - well this is a good contender. • My nail tech ended up being a bit rude with the whole mumbling to his co-workers and looking at me whilst rolling his eyes after I asked him to fix parts of my nail that he brushed over.

The first picture is what I asked for my nail design. The woman who did my nails asked how many colors and I asked if I could have as similar colors as possible to the picture and that there were 8 colors in the picture. She proceeded to tell me that I have five fingers so I could have five colors and it would cost extra. I was frustrated because I have gone to nail salons with much more complex designs and they were more than happy to make them. She asked if I wanted the two lines and I said "yes because that's what is in the design and they are different colors" she said "I'll do two lines with the same color" I told her that makes no sense snd to just leave them. She kept complaining that 5 colors were too many and that it confused her. She cut the fingertips of my nails (pictured and circled in red). I told her that she did and that it hurt. She insisted that my fingertips were fine and not cut. I told I could feel AND see the cuts and it hurt. SHE PROCEEDED TO PUT ALCOHOL on my fingertips and said "see, that doesn't hurt" and I said "well, I can feel it and I am telling you that it DOES hurt." She then walked away. I asked if I could get a discount since she hurt me and they gave me $2 off. Not only was it extremely expensive for some of the worst nail experience I have had, when my sister asked them to do any very simple designs we were told that none of them were possible. I try to be very easy to please, but for a nail place with four stars and pictures on the reviews (that to me seem pretty complex, especially compared to the french manicure I wanted) I was incredibly disappointed. I had just moved to the area looking for a regular place to go to and I can say firmly THIS WILL NOT be it. The techs were rude, unaccommodating, and unskilled. I understand that you may not always be able to perform perfect skill on complicated designs, but I just wanted a french manicure with extra colors...

I used to go here back when I lived across the street many years ago. I now have been going to Buckhead nail and toe spa for my full sets/ fill-ins and Sugarcoat midtown for my pedicures. I recently went to #1 nails for a fill in and a pedicure. My total was $140. No designs, no French, just a basic fill in (1 nail repaired) and a pedicure (acrylic on one of my big toes). The pedicure was okay, hated my nail shape though. But the fill in? TERRIBLE. Sloppy, the nail that they repaired stuck out like a sore thumb because the shape was so amateur and poorly done. Fast forward 2 days later my thumb nail cracked in the middle of my nail bed. Mind you I’ve been going to Buckhead nail and toe for years and I go six weeks between fill-ins and I never break a nail nor do they begin to lift. I went back in to #1 nail to get it repaired and was told by the owner that the guy who did my nails wasn’t there and if I wanted someone one else to fix it I’d have to pay for it. I respectfully declined. Imagine paying $75 FOR A FILL-IN and a nail cracking 2 days later. 2 days after that, the nail that they replaced completely came off taking my nail and skin with it. Please do NOT waste your money here! They use cheap material, so sloppy work and provide bad customer service. I remember why I stopped going there and will never return and make sure no one I know patronizes them either. I’ll be making that drive to Buckhead (like the owner RUDELY suggested when I came in to get the nail fixed) from here on out. (FYI the photos were taken about a week after getting my nails done there, you see how trash these nails look?!!!) Update: Another nail just came completely off while I was picking up a pair of pants off the floor. These nails are poppin off like press ons! I am so mad that I wasted my money on these BS nails!

I’m giving them one star because they actually do a decent job (hit or miss, that’s like any salon if you don’t have a designated technician). The customer service here is absolutely horrible. I live across the street and this used to be my salon solely due to proximinity. Now every now and then when I’m in a rush I do stop in to get a color change or something. Last week I went in here with a broken toe nail. I asked the technician to apply a piece of acrylic to my nail to make it appear uniform. She put acrylic over my entire toenail after I had explained to her that they were damaged after having done gel polish on my feet for a few months. The layer of acrylic she did was so thick, and honestly unnecessary. I have had technicians apply acrylic just to the corner of the nail to hold it in place until it grows out but she refused to do that. Not to mention she KNEW I had opted out of polish (I chose clear and was communicative about that). So of course with the clear polish, this horrible acrylic job was visible. I kindly asked her to remove it and had all intentions of tipping her for her time. She LITERALLY told me in front of the owner “you wase mah tam” as if I had done it on purpose. As a professional she should have advised me on what to do to make it look uniform but the only solution I saw fit was to remove the acrylic (by means of soaking). Then I got the bill which was for $75.00 (I got dip on my nails too- I love how they came out). She tried to be slick and just cash me out while I was seated and didn’t explain the cost (they are actually infamous for doing this so beware). I disputed the extra $10 they had charged me for my pedicure due to the one acrylic nail... that they did and removed because it looked horrible. The OWNER (Tony) tried to argue with me and tell me there was still acrylic on my toe after I had literally sat there for twenty minutes letting it soak off... what a nut case... won’t be returning and I advise you all not to go to this salon. I am never one to leave bad reviews, but when you’re paying $75.00 for a service, reasonable customer service is the...

I've been back three times in attempts to allow them to rectify the poor quality work done on my hands to no avail. I've been brushed off and completely disregarded. I've been told that "when you have long nails you have to be very careful" I'VE BEEN GETTING MY NAILS DONE FOR 20YRS!! This isn't my first rodeo or my first time requesting the length and style. IF YOU DIDN'T KNOW HOW TO DO WHAT I WAS REQUESTING, YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE OFFERED SERVICE! It took three people to do my nails that day 🤔🤔🤔 I came in with a set that had been on for three weeks that were the same length, with stones still in place...and you mean to tell me YOUR SET DIDN'T LAST 3 DAYS!!! 5 NAILS BROKEN OR CHIPPING IN ONE WEEK??? 🤔 🙄 😩 Shame on you all! Absolutely horrible experience!! I've never been treated as if my money didn't amount to anything.
