The facilities are decent, my low rating is due to customer service, clarity of membership terms, and inflexbility in customer service, and difficulty to book the services. I was hesitant to use the services, so I tried a 1 month unlimited. When I asked what happens at the end of the month, I was told I would need to choose a different membership type. To my surpise, the membership was automatically converted to another type and my card was charged. When I called expressing my confusion about being automatically moved without conversation, I was met with inflexibility to cancel/refund the 2nd month fee. I expressed that I am not interested in the service and don't see a need for it. When the 2nd month ended and I hadn't used any services, I asked to roll them over to use for a future month or to gift them to a friend to use before they expired. The staff prefer to lean on what the membership policies say instead of offering solutions that are fair to the customer. I've been underwhelmed by their ability to use their own booking sysytem. I don't like that when I book (within the membership), the service still shows up as a separate price. You cannot book joined / subsequent services, you cannot book the shower on the app. They really need more intuitive customer engagement and flexibility. I never told them that I caught a ringworm rash from their facility and that was another detractor from me using sessions.
I only tried this 1 month membership to support the owner who is a Soror, but the staff has left me frustrated and pursuing refund through AMEX for unused sessions that they are unwilling to push out a month. They said I need to extend my membership to use services I've paid for but haven't consumed. Poor...

For someone who suffers from self diagnosed winter depression, I kind of hate that I just found this place at the end of the season.
Can’t live without it from now on! Beem is a private sauna studio that heals with infrared light therapy. You come in and add some basic information into their touch screen kiosk. It ask you about how your feeling today and reasons for your visit before giving some recommendations on which light therapy or treatments you could benefit most from.
Then one of their WONDERFUL hosts shows you to your private sauna -fully loaded with plenty of clean, fresh towels, make-up remover towelettes, an iPad with Netflix/Apple Music and more ready to go, AND a chilled peppermint scented face towel to wipe off with when you’re done 🤯
There are several treatment rooms available. Even some for two people and with private showers if you prefer.
I started with a 40 min, 140 degree steam under a blue light for calmness and changed the light to pink for detoxifying the last 10 mins.
And then … I fell in love 😍. I did 15 mins on the red light therapy bed !!! It’s the perfect amount of warmth missing from the sunshine this time of year. I can only describe it as that half a min bask of sunshine coming through your car window in spring while your sitting at a red light. I need this weekly in my life ! I could literally feel my circulation improving, my skin rejuvenating, and my joint & muscle pain...

I was also informed about a payment I needed to make AFTER the session rather than before which is bad for business. I planned to be a loyal customer, but was treated unfairly and differently than people who don’t look like me. Not DIVERSITY FRIENDLY!
Update: After speaking with the owner, I see where the employees learn their TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The owner doesn't listen and wants to defend a policy that is not clearly stated nor sent in writing to customers. I NEVER ADMITTED TO BEING OVER TIME because I WAS NEVER OVER TIME in ANY OF MY APPOINTMENTS. My guest didn't pay because YOUR EMPLOYEES WERE NOT CLEAR WITH YOUR POLICY. She didn't adequately address my issues so I had to end the phone call. THIS BUSINESS DOES NOT VALUE INCLUSIVITY AND DIVERSITY! As a black woman, it should be a SLAP IN THE FACE that the customers who are not valued or adequately accommodated are BLACK WOMEN.
