I'm going to give a reserved honest opinion on the food here, with the understanding that this food is made fresh daily, so some days may have gravy salt hands while others have heavy spice hands. Today was a ssssspicy day! I'm from the Caribbean and the spicy collard greens lived up to their name. It was so spicy, my taste buds were deadened and I couldn't really taste anything else. I got the saucy turkey meal with the 24k gold sauce on the side with yams, mac, and a side of collard greens. The turkey was spicy and slightly salty as well, but not nearly as spicy as the greens. That said, I didn't hate it. My next round might just be the pulled turkey, mac, and yams to save myself or the fettuccine if they are offering. My roommate got the big back bowl and she said the same thing about the spice, but the delicious cornbread helped. The cornbread was delicious and not spicy which was expected from something with jalapeno. Her only issue was she would have liked more turkey, but she enjoyed clearing her nose from the spice of the greens. The location wasn't terrible to find, the website gives great instructions so there were no issues there. I travelled about 30 minutes to get to this location after stalking the menu for over a week or so and have not been turned off. Overall, I definitely plan to go back to give it...
Read moreMy 2nd time visiting a ghost kitchen business. First thing first, always order ahead for your own convenience (thank me later). Was excited to see that my wait for the food ran about 12 min over from the original promised time. Not bad at all! The last business I patronized wait time was unacceptable and I will not be going back there (same location). After we arrived home from a 26 minute drive the food was still hot. Impressed for sure. Everything was good! Wow yall. My favorite sides were the Mac & cheese and yams. When I tell you this may be the best mac & cheese I’ve had from a business in a LONG time. But again the turkey (bbq and garlic Parmesan) collard greens, cornbread, salmon pasta ALL were phenomenal. 3 meals purchased and we all could eat on the meals twice. My suggestion is that if you get the big back like me please share! Well you may not want to share all of the food on top but you will not eat all of the cornbread by yourself. Lol Anyway this was great and we really enjoyed our meal. 10 out of 10. I forgot to mention the food health score is 100 for those that care (I checked before I left the building). We will be back to support in the future and try more menu items. Thank you for cooking...
