OK so I’m gonna give you the real because no one gave us the real until we got here. This place does not deliver everywhere, so be wary of that because if they do not deliver to you, that means that you have to go there and pick it up. There’s purposely no phone number to this place so you cannot place your order over the phone and you must go their physically to get the food. But first you have to use either DoorDash GrubHub Uber eats or any other food ordering app to order your food from the restaurant that you choose from their food eatery website. Once you place your order through one of these apps, the food is then delivered to the Forrest eatery for pick up if they do not deliver within your location. In order to get an update on if your order is ready, you have to go into the eatery and then scan a QR code in order to get updates sent directly to your phone and text messages. And then once they finally text you that your food is ready to go, you then go inside the eatery and pick up your food in one of the lockers. It’s a very tedious process in my opinion because there’s no instructions on the website so you wouldn’t know how this works until you get there especially if you’re from out of town. I will say that the food that we ordered from hibachi express was very good and was actually worth the wait. But I would be careful with some of the restaurants as I’ve heard that some of them are scams and are not legitimate...
Read moreI've ordered twice from "Moonbowls," but that was before I found out that this is a "virtual kitchen" aka "ghost kitchen." Turns out Moonbowl's menu is the exact same as "Lulubowls," "F#ck Gluten, "F#ck Carbs," but they all have slightly different pricing. For instance, the exact same Fried Chicken bowl costs $16 at Moonbowls but $18 at Lulubowls. Another example: the exact same Buffalo Chicken Fingers are sold for $10.99 at "Big City Burgers," but $13.99 at "Niko's Diner." This is very deceptive.
They make you think that there are many restaurants inside, but in reality, there isn't nearly enough space for 63 "restaurants"—yes, 63. I daresay more than half of these are owned and/or operated by the founder of Uber (via CloudKitchens), who rents out space or conversely, a form of "private labeling services" to restaurant owners. Also, according to their website, there are an additional 54 restaurants that are either listed as temporarily or permanently closed... why are they still on the list, then? I wonder if that's a waiting list or some sort of seasonal roster. Welcome to the future.
If you have severe allergies or intolerances, you'd be best to exercise caution with this place and other ghost kitchens in the area (oh yeah, there are others). There is no way to rule out cross-contamination. Given the sheer number of "restaurants" doing business here, it's safe to say there's guaranteed cross-contamination. Hard...
Read moreI hope I can reach the owner and let you know that the residents across or along the same street that you are on are harasing the delivery drivers that are at your restaurant to make a pickup delivery. One resident in particular (at 795 Forrest St) approached my car in a drunken demeanor and had taken pictures of my tag; he then pointed his finger in my face as I sat in my car last night while waiting for an order. I sat on the other side of the street from his Beverly hillbillies' unit. He came into my face as I got out of my car yelling and screaming; I had no choice but to call the police. I will get a restraining order on this Mr. Hicks if he approaches me again. Also, he and other residents are planning a hearing to get more No Parking Signs along this street: this will limit access to your business during its' busiest time (evenings) Merchants and delivery drivers profits will be greatly decreased by this. So, if you will get a petition signed by delivery drivers and merchants as well to prevent this as parking is limited already. I will be one of the first to sign.
Today, Forrest Eatery--March 26, 2023, you have a water leakage that I have noticed in your outside parking lot for at least two days--who is going to pay for this? Water is too expensive in the City of...
