Bar ANA — Restaurant in Atlanta

Was excited to check out the new Bar Ana. It was everything I expected from a dessert and cocktail bar with a Mexico City vibe. The dessert menu was very inventive. We decided to try the mini mango, which was a mango mousse with mango curd encased in white chocolate over a mango compote and toasted coconut. It was beautiful and delicious. The portions were great for two people to share. The bartender gave us great drink recommendations and we tried the Guava G&T and the Mahalo (similar to a margarita). We didn’t have reservations, since it was fully booked, but we were welcomed at the front and it was a short wait in their waiting lounge prior to getting seated at the bar. Had an amazing time at Bar Ana last night with a good friend. The vibe is incredible and the customer service was truly top-notch. I even got the chance to chat with one of the owners about the history of the place before it became Bar Ana-back when it was El Bar, which used to be my go-to spot. What they’ve done with the space is nothing short of impressive. The atmosphere feels fresh yet familiar, like coming back home. My drink was perfect and the dessert was a great finishing touch.
