Whoa. Blown away by some delicious milkshakes last night!
The concept is brilliant, but so simple. Why have I never considered putting cereal in ICE CREAM before?
You start with a base ice cream - vanilla, chocolate, strawberry. Then add cereal if you like and yâall, they have EVERYTHING. Lucky Charms, Cookie Crisp, Corn Pops, Fruity Pebbles, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, all your childhood favorites that your mom hesitated to buy at the grocery store because they were basically sugar bombs for breakfast.
Then you can pick other mix-ins. Cheesecake, Reeseâs Peanut Butter Cups, marshmallow, brownie bites, honey, strawberry sauce, granola, chocolate chips etc.
You can get your treat as ice cream in a cup, an ice cream sundae on a WAFFLE or a milkshake.
Mastermind your own creations or thereâs also a helpful menu with suggestions of locally-themed topping mixes named after Atlanta neighborhoods - âThe East Atlanta, âBuckhead,â âDowntown.â
We wanted something we could travel with so we choose milkshakes.
I got vanilla ice cream as my base with the âMidtownâ cereal mix - this one had Fruity Pebbles, Apple Jacks, Corn Pops and honey. It was amazing. Just an awesome, fruity-sweet combo of flavors and the crunch of cereal in the ice cream is such a fun sensation.
My daughter had a chocolate milkshake with brownie bites and cheesecake. The tang of the cheesecake was a perfect compliment to the silky chocolate and sweet brownie.
The staff were really sweet. So friendly and welcoming, just like youâd want your ice cream truck vendor to be.
They had a crowd last night at The Goblin Market and, even after four hours of providing sweet treats for hungry festival visitors, they were still moving fast to make ice cream treats and had a kind smile for everyone.
Get excited if you see Cereal and Creamâs cute pink food truck out and about. Donât miss out on some ice cream wonderfulness that will make you feel like...
Read moreI'll begin with the positive! This place is simply Adorable! The decor and the swing from the ceiling is a hit for adults and kids alike. The staff was pleasant enough, however no 5 stars from me for the following reasons. Limited parking not mentioned on website, Seating for 20 or 25 tops Slow service I can't in good faith reccomend this place, not even sure if I will give them a second look. Here's what did it for me. It was my granddaughters 9th birthday and we 8 little girls plus the 6 adults and everyone ordered at $10 or each. We sat and chatted while waiting for our icecream. I can't say how much time had passed, but I noticed that a mother and daughter who came in after us received their orders. It wasn't until the party of three that came in after them and received their orders that I noticed that my daughter and I were the only ones in our group not enjoying cereal and cream! When we told them it still took an additional 10 or so minutes. I said I no longer wanted my order, and it was prepared and brought to me anyway! The lady was apologetic and polite, however, I said I didn't want it, told her twice again that after watching everyone else I no longer wanted icecream! She placed it in front of me anyway! Who does that? When she observed that I didn't touch it, see picture below of ice cream dripping and melting on the table. She apologized to my daughter and issued a refund. That earned the 3rd star. I do recommend a customer service course to go along with the pleasant demeanor. So...
Read moreI had an amazing time at brunch today at Cereal and Cream. If you are looking for a place with good food and amazing service, then look no further. The food was amazing. Service was amazing. Drinks were amazing. The space is super small, but there werenât a lot of people when we went so it was okay. The parking is atrocious, but there is street parking in the area. Give yourself time to park when you come and donât get frustrated because I just told you parking is horrible. The lot in front of the restaurant is super small and tight so check your car for dings too. Now, back to the amazing food. Our order only took about 15 minutes to come out and it was piping hot; literally. I ordered stuffed blueberry French toast, scrambled eggs, turkey sausage, and grits. I loved every bite of my food. It was flavorful and not very expensive at all. There was a bartender on site too. She was so much fun and super creative with our drinks; we had four. Our total for two people came to right at $80. Two full meals and four alcoholic beverages; it was right on tap with the going rate for brunch in the area today. I will definitely go back. After the winter they go back to just ice cream; no brunch. The decor inside was so cute and although it was a small space, you still had room to eat and feel like you were alone at least...
