gusto! - healthy bowls & wraps — Restaurant in Atlanta

My work team has a quarterly meeting and the hosting location arranges lunch. I decided to order from Gusto's Peachtree location, as it is directly across the street from my workplace. I was put in touch with the Catering Manager, Dashia Bryant, by the location manager.

When I contacted Dashia and told her what I wanted and when, she confirmed that my request / order could be completed with no issues. I let her know that I was glad because I'd been stressing over it all. Dashia told me that she'd get everything taken care of and that there was need to stress or worry. She then sent me a spreadsheet for easy ordering (Friday evening) and confirmed the order first thing Monday morning (and I had a considerable number of special requests for 18 bowls). Dashia also provided me with her mobile number and said if I needed anything like an order modification (even if it is last minute) to text her and she'd take care it. Well as it worked out, I forgot the dessert items I'd picked up before hand and had to order some from Gusto's an hour before delivery. Dashia confirmed the additional items and brought everything over with the order.

When I tell you that she was punctual, professional in delivery (quietly done during a presentation), the food was hot, and that everything was perfect... OMG!!! Dashia Bryant is a rock star, as are the team members that worked on the order! My colleagues were happy with the food and everyone wanted to know more about Gusto's.

Service everywhere has suffered since the pandemic and it was refreshing to work with Dashia. Her positive and can-do, customer focused attitude are awesome. She is the reason I'll order here for the next...

I've never been so humiliated in my life especially in front of my little girl. It was my husband's and I first time patronizing this business and the experience was excellent until NATALIE. She was the cashier that took payment.

We ordered 2 drinks and our order was on the counter in front of us I peaked in the bag to see if the other drinks were in the bag and Natalie immediately snatched the bag from under me and in a rude condescending way started to tell at me to get away from the bag. I asked if this was our order, and she yelled yes but I'm not done. It was so crazy how she started fussing and the other staff just stared in shock as did my daughter.

I asked for a manager and asked if it was her, why is she being so rude ...and she said she would definitely not be a manager.

The entire interaction was crazy. I still can't believe how aggressive she was towards me. I advised I will be writing a complaint to corporate and she told me to go right ahead, they know her!

I own several businesses and I NEVER write bad reviews because I get it - you can have the best customer service every single day but this was uncalled for.

I located the corporate.email to write a complaint and although we only spent $60 at this establishment - we will spend our $60 elsewhere ....

Their chicken rice bowls are out of this world!!! Gusto cooks their chickens on a wood grill and the results are incredible: slight char & smokey perfection. In short, the food here is fast, healthy, and tastes great. I think I found my new favorite lunch place.

The location isn't my favorite, it's located in a small busy strip mall dominated by CVS. Not really a walkable nor bikeable area. If you drive there, parking is located in the rear of the building. Once there, you'll be greeted by the large menu display on the wall. Pretty simple process:

You choose a base carb (Flatbread wrap, brown rice, mixed greens) Choose a protein (Chicken, Portabella, Shrimp) Sauce (About 8 choices and sometimes an advertised special)

My favorite thing to get so far is the Chicken with Brown Rice, topped with Chipotle Mango Avocado. Not too smokey, not too sweet, it strikes a perfect balance of flavors. If it's your first time here, I highly recommend this combination to start. With your meal, you also get a side of sweet potato chips which too, are perfectly prepared: salty, crunchy, and thin chips. Very addicting.

If you need to switch things up from the usual lunch routine (you know, the Chipotle burrito bowl) come check this place out, you surely won't regret it. I only wish they had more...
