Located right across the street from the Mercedes-Benz Stadium, this is great southern cooking in a great location. Restaurant 10 is a small smaller restaurant with about 12 tables inside. We waited about five minutes to be seated even with a large nursing conference in town.
Raven was our server, and she was absolutely outstanding. She recognized that most of our party was dining in for the first time and helped them navigate the menu to the items they would most enjoy. Because of the number of people in the restaurant that night due to of the conference in town, the wait for food was quite a bit longer than normal. But Raven was so attentive, checking on his frequently, bringing the table, complementary appetizer, and updating us throughout the wait. If you dine here, 100% ask for Raven to be your server.
Our table enjoyed entrées of buffalo chicken wrap with french fries, the bang, bang, shrimp, appetizer as a meal, bourbon, glaze, salmon, Nashville, hot fried catfish, and restaurant tends signature dish, the turkey ribs. Everyone at our table commented that their meals were cooked perfectly, and that the portion sizes were just slightly larger than expected.
Personally, I had the Nashville, hot fried catfish with collard greens and barbecue beans. The fish dish included two large fillets, only one of which I could finish comfortably. The fish batter included a slight amount of cayenne pepper to give just a hint of heat, but by no means was it spicy. However, it was cooked perfectly. The collard greens were some of the best that I’ve ever eaten. Rather than pork or beef as the meat in the greens, these collard greens included turkey, and they were fantastic. The barbecue beans were OK, but mostly that’s because I’m from Texas and eat barbecue beans and cowboy beans every chance I can get. If you’ve never tried barbecue beans before, I don’t think you’ll be disappointed in restaurant 10’s.
The most interesting dish at our table were the turkey ribs, a Restaurant 10 specialty. These were three ribs basted in a very nice southern barbecue sauce. The ribs were about the size of pork spareribs and really cooked to perfection. They didn’t quite fall off the bone. But I wouldn’t have expected that from poultry as you would expect with pork. But these ribs really were fantastic and I would highly recommend them for anyone eating at Restaurant 10 for the first time.
Overall, we had a great experience at Restaurant 10. Again, I would 100% recommend asking for Raven as your server. She was unbelievably patient, accommodating, attentive, and just a beautiful young lady doing the best work that she can do. She makes you feel really special, and that in itself is worth a visit to Restaurant...
Read moreI recently visited Restaurant 10 Bar & Grill during my trip to Atlanta, coming from out of state. While the service and hospitality provided by the staff were commendable, I must express my disappointment with the quality of the food and drinks offered. Being in the South, I had high expectations for the culinary and beverage offerings. Unfortunately, the food did not meet those expectations. The menu options for late-night dining were limited, which was disappointing considering the vibrant food scene in Atlanta. Moreover, the quality of the drinks, particularly the martinis, fell short of what I would consider satisfactory. As someone who appreciates well-crafted cocktails, I was disappointed by the taste and presentation of the drinks. It felt like the flavors and ingredients used did not align with my expectations of a premium cocktail experience. Additionally, I would like to highlight that the availability of alternative options or accommodations for those who were unsatisfied with their drink choices seemed limited. This lack of flexibility left me feeling stuck with a subpar experience, without any suitable alternatives to rectify the situation. Overall, while the people and service at [Restaurant/Bar Name] were praiseworthy, I cannot recommend this establishment to others who have a discerning taste for good food and high-quality martinis. If you are looking for a memorable culinary experience or expertly crafted cocktails, I suggest exploring other options in Atlanta. It is my hope that Restaurant 10 Bar & Gril takes this feedback constructively and makes necessary improvements to elevate the overall dining experience for its patrons. Sincerely, Just Brother Looking for late night eats and a...
Read moreI walked in and wasn’t greeted by any of the three people standing by the door with the uniform on, fine cause I was sitting at the bar for a to go order anyway. When I sat down the bar tender came over after a few minutes and picked up the straw and cup of water in front of the only open seat that I chose to sit in (didn’t wipe the bar down despite there being liquid and residual ketchup from the last guest). I was told that the menu was accessible via the QR code in front of me (no drink menu on the site) and I told her I needed a minute to solidify my order. When she came back, she took my order and never offered me a drink, I would’ve ordered a cocktail or a beer since I would be waiting for food, I’d think she’d use that as an opportunity to upsell me on a drink. Bartender brought the bill after reading off my order with her back to me and there was a 20% gratuity for dining in. A few minutes later I flagged her down to ask her to remove the automatic gratuity to which she responded “I thought you’d be eating appetizer here while you wait.” If she really believed that she’d have offered me a drink. She removed the gratuity no issues and I paid, and tipped her 18% anyway. 20 minutes later my food came out and when I got home there was no jalapeño ranch that’s advertised to come with the fried pickles and everything was entirely too salty, I couldn’t finish the food. All in all I will go back, because this is the worst experience I’ve had there and it’s still not a deal breaker. The food has always been well seasoned in the past and the service great, so take this review with a grain of salt, or maybe not if you’re...
