Two days ago I had the BEST experience at this shop . Clean environment with great energy everyone was so nice and genuine; the owner is absolutely amazing and runs a great shop . Most importantly though my artist was AMAZING . Ironpalm_pudge was so professional, down to earth and very knowledgeable about his craft . He was very receptive when I approach him with my idea but also wasn’t afraid to tell me what would work best so that I would get the best tattoo . He knows what will look good and its very easy to trust him because you can tell he is so experienced and educated when it comes to his work . I knew I was in great hands the moment we started talking about my idea . He’s great with placement and made the tattoo better then what I could have ever expected. You can honestly tell he takes pride in what he does no matter if it’s big or small he will make it the best. I was also blown away by him because he’s a true artist ( which is hard to find ) I saw him draw my idea up from scratch after I just told him a basic idea he brought what I wanted to life . I decided to get some script on my ribs and I can honestly say it was a very pleasant experience. I have several tattoos and my left side of my ribs are already done and after that experience I was expecting so much pain but when ironpalm_pudge started on my right ribs I was honestly overwhelmed with excitement I BARELY Felt ANYTHING ! I was able to sit there comfortably and get the tattoo of my dreams . No drama no tears just pure enjoyment which I think says a lot when getting a rib tattoo . He obviously has been doing this for years and years and has mastered his craft The skill and cleanliness of his work blew me away and for that reason I will no longer trust anyone else to tattoo me . After you get work done by this man I can guarantee you will be a life long customer . I already have other projects planned with him and I can not wait to experience the quality and talent of this man again . If I could give him 10 stars I would . I had a phenomenal experience with tattoo artist Rene Cristobal at Iron Palm Tattoo. I love tattoos, but after a poor experience at a different shop in ATL, I was very hesitant to try again. I'm so glad I found Iron Palm on Instagram. When I walked into Iron Palm and was greeted by Rene, who is so friendly and welcoming, I knew I'd made the right decision. In fact, everyone that I encountered at Iron Palm was so open and nice -- the vibe was right from the minute I entered the door. Rene is an amazing artist with an impressive portfolio of work. I was initially intimidated to approach him with my simple, fine line tattoo project. However, he assured me that he loves doing intricate line work and seemed excited about the project. He created a few options for me to choose from, then tried different sizes to make sure the artwork fit the 2 areas I wanted tattooed just right. He made suggestions and really took his time on the consultation. When he started tattooing he worked efficiently, but did not seem rushed. He was gentle and the pain was minimal. The result was 2 perfect tattoos that I love! His line work is impeccable. I love it so much that I now want to add to the tattoo on my hand and expand his artwork.

The shop is easy to find with a sign that's visible from the street with plenty of unattended paid parking nearby. (I didn't pay for my parking, I just parked -- though I wouldn't recommend that for anyone else.) The artists' stations were clean and organized. Music was a positive element in the shop and added to the experience (old school R&B and hip-hop played during the ~2 hours I was there)
