Hands-down the best sports venue in Atlanta, the southeast, and in my opinion, the whole country.
Pros: -You can see the field from pretty much anywhere you stand inside the stadium. You don’t even have to go to your seats to watch the game, you can just buy the cheapest nosebleed tickets to get in the gate, then go find a nice spot on a railing with a nice view. -There are TVs virtually everywhere, so if you’re at the bar getting a drink, in line at the bathroom, or just walking around, you won’t miss a play in the game. Heck, you might even be at your seat and all of a sudden realize you’ve been staring at the massive 360 degree screen and forgot you can look down at the field to see the game live. -Food and drinks are reasonably priced for a sports venue. And there is a huge selection of bars, restaurants, and pop-up stands all over the stadium. -Getting in and out of the stadium is very easy, even for very crowded events. There are several gates and the security screening/ticket scanning is a breeze, as long as you’re not behind someone who doesn’t know how to use their phone to scan their tickets. -Getting to and from the stadium is also easy. Although, yes, it does get crowded in that area so if you’re driving or taking uber/lyft, expect some traffic. We usually take MARTA and you can either get off at the GWCC stop or at Vine City. The only problem with MARTA is that the stations can get crowded right after the game/event ends, so we usually wait around at Wild Leap Brewing until the crowd dies down. -The staff at the stadium is typically friendly and helpful, we’ve only run into a few employees who were not. We made friends with one of the ushers at the section where we usually stand and he is always super friendly and happy to be there. -Overall, the stadium is an incredible feat of engineering, architecture, and technology. When you walk in for the first time you are in awe at the size of the place and the unique design features. I love going to events here!
Cons: -The Falcons have been disappointing to watch. -I absolutely hate how they have turned the stadium into a massive billboard for Mercedes-Benz. Was it not enough to have the stadium named after a car company that has nothing to do with the city of Atlanta? Nope, now every side of the stadium is plastered with huge ads for latest MB vehicles…
Not really a con, just an opinion: The retractable roof is impressive and it looks cool. But that’s about it, I don’t see much use for it other than just to say that our stadium has a retractable roof. When it’s open, just hope your seat doesn’t end up under the scorching Georgia sun. Bring sunglasses and a hat...
Read moreFirst off—mic drop, mind blown, explosive experience, dynamite service! I recently attended a Falcons game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium with my 70-year-old father to celebrate life, and I was absolutely blown away.
The Club-Level Experience: If you’re debating what the club-level seats offer versus the 200-, 300-, or 400-level floors—let me tell you, it’s direct access to the players! We were literally right behind the Falcons on the field, so close you could almost reach out and touch them (with security, of course). I had no idea this was even an option, and it made for an unforgettable experience, especially for my father.
Affordable, Delicious Food: Can we talk about the food? This stadium is the first I’ve been to (Kansas, Louisiana, California, Texas included) where food prices are actually affordable! Popcorn for $2, hot dogs for $2, and cotton candy for $3—and it was delicious! I expected low prices to mean low quality, but the food was amazing, and the service was impeccable.
Stadium Atmosphere: We stayed at a hotel across the street and walked over, but even the crowd control and overall experience were seamless. Every seat in the house offers an incredible view, and you just feel the energy of the crowd no matter where you are. Big Tigger was the emcee, and the stadium atmosphere was electric. Atlanta fans bring a whole new meaning to third-down excitement!
Bonus Perks: Mercedes-Benz Stadium has incredible perks. You can check out the G-Wagons and S-Class Mercedes vehicles on display, take pictures, and enjoy the stadium’s high-end feel. We explored the entire stadium, and every seat seemed like the best seat in the house.
Why You Should Go: Whether you’re out of town or looking for a local date night spot, this stadium is a must-see. And if you really want to upgrade your experience, treat yourself to club-level seats. They offer a whole new level of comfort, incredible views, and exclusive access to higher-quality food and drinks. When we come back, we’re definitely going for the all-inclusive experience with all-you-can-eat options!
Final Thoughts: This was hands down the best stadium experience I’ve ever had, and I can’t wait to bring my entire family back for more! If you’re looking for an unforgettable game day or event, Mercedes-Benz Stadium is the place to be.

Read moreWe visited the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta during Thanksgiving week and decided to take a stadium tour—and let me tell you, we were blown away! The sheer ingenuity and thought that went into designing this place are incredible.
What really surprised me was how eco-friendly the stadium is. It’s actually a leader among stadiums when it comes to sustainability, and it’s clear they prioritized environmental responsibility without compromising on style or functionality.
The stadium itself is beautiful, spacious, and thoughtfully designed. Every detail seems meticulously planned, from seating layouts to the massive video board that wraps around the entire arena.
While we couldn’t check out the Falcons’ locker room (they had a game the next day), we did get to step inside the Atlanta United locker room, and it was still such a cool experience. Our tour guide was fantastic—super knowledgeable and engaging, sharing tons of interesting facts about the stadium and its operations.
One thing that really stood out to me was Arthur Blank’s commitment to the city of Atlanta. It’s clear he genuinely cares about the community and listened to fans when building this stadium. You can see his vision reflected in every detail, especially when it comes to creating an amazing fan experience.
One of my favorite parts of the tour was learning about the stadium’s affordable food pricing. Instead of the typical $15 hotdogs and overpriced drinks, you’re looking at just a couple of dollars for snacks and meals. This wasn’t an accident—it was a deliberate choice to ensure fans could not only enjoy the game but also have an enjoyable and affordable dining experience.
It’s also impressive how many major events this stadium hosts—everything from NFL games and SEC Championships to concerts, Super Bowls, and so much more.
The retractable dome was closed during our visit, so we didn’t get to see it in action, but honestly, the stadium still left us in awe.
All in all, if you’re in Atlanta, Mercedes-Benz Stadium is an absolute must-visit—whether you’re catching a game, a concert, or just taking a tour. It’s a world-class venue and a true testament to modern stadium design....
