I recently savored the Fussy Hussy at SluttyVegan on Edgewood, and it was an absolute delight for my taste buds. Taking advantage of the Uber Eats buy one get one free promo for takeout, I enjoyed the plant-based patty loaded with flavorful pickles, melty vegan cheese, caramelized onions, crisp lettuce, and fresh tomato—all expertly sandwiched between a vegan Hawaiian bun and topped with the irresistible Slut Sauce.
While the burger stole the show with its delightful medley of ingredients, I did notice a slight inconsistency in the dusting on the fries – some were more heavily coated than others. However, this minor detail didn't overshadow the overall enjoyment of the meal. The thoughtful assembly of the burger and the delectable combination of flavors made this dining experience truly memorable. With the added bonus of the Uber Eats promotion, it was not only a delicious but also a satisfyingly affordable treat. I'll undoubtedly be returning for more of this plant-based goodness.
Edited review experience on02/02/2025:
This was one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve ever had. I placed an order through Uber Eats and went to the restaurant to pick it up, only to be told they couldn’t complete my order because they had run out of meat. They instructed me to cancel the order through the Uber Eats app, so I did and left.
When I got home, I contacted Uber Eats for a refund, but they refused, stating that since the restaurant had already accepted the order, I would not be refunded because I canceled it. Frustrated, I drove back to Slutty Vegan to explain that I was still being charged for the order they told me to cancel. At this point, they informed me that they had received meat and could now fulfill my order.
After waiting another 10 minutes, someone came up and told me I needed to place the order again through the Uber Eats app. I explained that I had already been charged for the original order and showed them the correspondence from Uber stating they would not issue a refund. Despite all of this, I received no apology or acknowledgment for the inconvenience and wasted time.
It’s such a shame because I do really enjoy their food. As someone who doesn’t eat meat, I appreciate the plant-based options they offer. However, the hassle and lack of accountability I’ve gone through make it simply not worth it. I won’t be...

Read moreVisiting ATL and my family had SV three times during our stay. Ate twice at the location on Ralph D. Abernathy and once at this location on Edgewood. Definitely like the Edgewood location best because of the size of the space, more menu offerings like the vegan chili, hawt dogs, breakfast items and bigger selection of desserts.
We stopped on a Wednesday night. There wasn’t any available street parking so I sat in the car with the hazard lights on while my husband and kiddos went in and ordered.
My daughter tried the Project Chik. Loved it! Hubby had the Dance Hall Queen twice from the other location and looooved it. He was glad this location carried the chili so he could try it. He said it had a very good taste but was on the thick side and could’ve used more broth or liquid because it was somewhat dry. I tasted it as well and it is very flavorful, savory and hearty, but was dry and needed more liquid. Seems as if it had been sitting in the pot for a while and perhaps all of the liquid was absorbed; nevertheless, it was still very tasty.
My kiddos really like their banana pudding and got that three times during our visit. It’s a winner. The sweet potato pie has a good taste. A little too sweet for me but still good.
All of their sandwiches come with fries and everyone really liked the taste of them and the signature seasoning.
The food is plentiful, very filling and everything we tried was really good. Will definitely get again if we’re...
