My husband and I was visiting AC. We was hungry and I decided for pizza. I looked on- line and they had high ratings. So we decided to check the place out! The establishment was very dark. We walked into the bar side of the restaurant. Then my husband went outside to smoke a cigar and noticed that they have another entrance for din-in. Yet we was ordering out. When we walked in we sat at the bar and that's when the bartender greeted us. He advised us that we had to order our takeout at the window and not at the bar. The take out window was on other side of the room. No complaints about that! My husband and I walked to the counter. Where we was then greeted by a woman and male server. We was nice so they was certainly nice to us. The wait time was about fifteen minutes as the server advised us. We sat back at the bar and waited for our order. The server came to us and gave us our meal. We ordered a 13' inch pizza with extra cheese and a chicken parmigiana. As we was preparing to eat our meal. I noticed that they did not provide us with no napkins or utensils. Good thing I came prepared with such necessities because we was staying at a major hotel on the boardwalk and decided to eat our meal in our room...So my advice to this establishment is to at least provide napkins and utensils for all take out orders. Nevertheless. When it comes to the food the pizza was medicor and the chicken paramagana was very bland. Also, not long after my husband ate the food he got sick. When we come back to visit Atlantic City we will not patronize this location again. I guess this location is old staple for the locals of AC... You do better going to Carmine's at the Tropicana Hotel AC and paying...
Read moreFor our 21st date, my sweetheart took me to Atlantic City for my birthday. I have a lot of anxiety about planning travel, and AC was about as far as I was willing to go. This trip was a bit of a road test, to see how we traveled together, to see how we spent several days in each other's company without the normal distractions of home, to see how I did accepting help from his daughter to baby-sit by dog. The plan was to hit Tony Boloney's for lunch, but it took us awhile to get organized in the morning, and then I got hungry before we even left the city and requested that we stopped to pick up a tofu banh mi from Artisan Boulanger Patisserie in S. Philly. So, it was a late lunch at Tony Boloney's. My sweetheart had a recommendation to this pizzeria from his nephew, who visits AC periodically.
As we drove up to Tony Boloney's, I recalled that I once attended a summer wedding at the lighthouse nearby. It was a weird wedding. The wedding party arrived late. Meanwhile, the guests huddled in the tiny bit of shade on the porch. There wasn't enough seating even in the sun. Before the wedding started we learned that the caterer had never shown up, so the reception was to be moved to a nearby bar. I heard one of the other guests discussing how he was tempted to remove some of the cash from his gift card, seeing as how there wasn't going to be a dinner.
Well, enough of memory lane. My stay at Tony Boloney's with my sweetheart was plenty of fun and had...

Short Story: Long wait, took twice as long than they said for order. which they messed up twice. Kids that don’t know what they’re doing work there. They let pizza sit out in the corner and fit it onto a pan to serve later with flies everywhere.
Long Story: I’ve been following this place for years and just so happened to be near one of the locations, i will not be coming back to this location, when we were walking into the place we passed by an open window that showed the corner of the inside with two carts full of about 20+ old pizzas sitting. I later saw someone grab slices from that rack and fit slice by slice on a pan to put out. Keep in mind the place is filled with flies (and the pizzas sit out…) I didn’t even want to stay inside to eat my food.
They have about 4 kids working back there and it just looked a mess and unsanitary, if I weren’t so hungry I wouldn’t have ordered anything. Me and my friends ordered a salad, fries and 2 wings, aside from waiting nearly an hour (with only one other person, who was there with their kid eating), when they told us the order would only take 8 more minutes, we actuallly waited 17 minutes. When we finally received our food they got the salad wrong twice which took 15 extra minutes with a refusal for a fair compensation for the ridiculous wait and errors. I wouldn’t come eat at this location if I...
