I rarely write reviews, but I feel inclined to do so because of my experience. The review is more geared towards raising awareness of the absolutely headache you may experience if you decided to reserve a condo here. I never actually got to stay there because of the issues with Cozy Suites.
I booked a condo for an upcoming stay about a month ago and received all my confirmations of the booking. A few days later I got an email at 2am that my payment was declined. It was decline by my credit card company because they flagged it as potential fraud. I called Cozy Suites first thing in the morning, and that’s when they told me it was declined by my credit card company. So I called my credit card company and they approved the charge. Well, even though I only got the email at 2am, cozy suites kept trying to charge my card multiple times and then their system flagged my card for potential fraud so I could not longer pay with that card even though my credit card company approved the charge and they are the ones that told me that it had gotten declined by my credit card company but kept trying to charge it anyways. I gave them another credit card and the payment went through and I asked the guy over the phone if everything was good to go and he said yes, everything is good.
Two weeks later I go to pay my credit card and I see that the card had been changed but then the charge was removed. I hadn’t received any emails from the company since my booking confirmation and my Travelocity app said the room was booked. I decided to call just to confirm and they tell me the reservation was cancelled! They cancelled it with absolutely no reason or notifications that it had been cancelled. I was livid. The same room was still available and since our trip was not far away I decided to just rebook it rather than trying to find another place to stay. I made the reservation and went to pay and they stated the card got declined AGAIN and to call my credit card company. I called the credit card company and they said they approved the charge right away but the Cozy Suites sent a charge of $0.00 and never sent a charge for another amount. My credit card company said there is no reason the card is declined other than whatever Cozy Suites is doing on their end. I called cozy suites back, and they told me the card is declined and I needed to talk to my credit card company again even though I told them everything my credit company told me. So Cozy Suites system itself was preventing my payment from going through and there was nothing I could do. At this point I was so frustrated, annoyed, and reach to just stay somewhere else.
I ended up cancelling the reservation outright bc the entire experience was nothing like I’ve ever experienced and a major headache. Within an hour I booked another place to stay with no problems whatsoever. It was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had making a reservation and the first time I’ve ever ran into such an issue. I spent a total of 4-5 hours on the phone trying to get it worked out. Mind you, I have all major credit cards. Whatever system Cozy Suites uses for payments is garbage. This is also the first time ever in over ten years of using my credit cards to book vacations and hotel reservations specifically that they initially blocked a charge for potential fraud, which makes me believe the payment system Cozy Suited uses is sketchy.

Read moreProceed with extreme caution!!!! I would absolutely never book with this place ever again!!! I gave it 1 star because I had to give it something in order to leave a review. My daughters and I got away for her birthday for 3 days and were excited to get to AC only to run into this place at the end of the rainbow. :( Attached are pictures for your viewing if you're thinking about staying here. We were charged over $1400.00 for 3 nights to walk into a shoddy suite with a large hole in the bed frame, peeled paint, peeled wall paper, chipped wall, rusty towel racks, shower head buildup, missing towel rings, splotchy toilets, a tiny low and hard couch, tiny dining table, a broken lamp, light switches in one room that weren't circuited for the intended room, toilet unflushed, terrible smoke smell with no air circulating, and dirty walls. When trying to resolve this, we were given a room that was a mirror image of the first with the exception of a grown up couch. The art on the wall was leaning with one pillow on the bed. It's clear that some upgrading and TLC is needed here. We DID NOT stay the night even though we had arrived late in the evening. We left and obtained rooms in another hotel. The customer service is also indicative of what I saw. They will give lip service but no real solution, as they should give a refund, fix their property, and offer a desirable place to lodge going forward, but instead this one is an old bait and switch unfortunately and finding out after the fact will cost you dearly. Read moreTerrible service and a total joke of a hotel. Took over an hour to check in while the rep on the phone definitely offshored asked bizarre, unnecessary questions—like to send details over text of how me and my girlfriend planned to spend our anniversary there. Thought I misheard him, but nope—he actually wanted details because it was “company policy” Why would any booking service need that? Felt more like an interrogation than a check-in. After endless holds and back-and-forth, I half expected to walk into the room and find the guy on the bed oiled up telling me it was “company policy mister” Thankfully that didn’t happen—but what we did walk into was almost as bad. The room looked like it was furnished entirely from Temu. Scratched, stained furniture, a musty smell, broken remote (volume down didn’t work—just up, which is torture), and a couch that was barely holding itself together as the arm rests wobbled like crazy. Sheets felt gross and damp, the whole place seemed on the verge of falling apart. Could barely sleep, half-convinced I’d wake up with bed bugs or a roach on my forehead. It was like if whoever owns the unit said “here’s $200 to furnish the unit, I want to squeeze every penny out of these units while spending as little as physically possible” Only reason this isn’t a 1-star is because the kitchen was decent and the location was convenient. But do yourself a favor—spend the extra $40 and stay at Showboat instead. Atleast it will have real furniture, and service you can actually reach out to...
