Guthrie's — Restaurant in Auburn

As much as I love Gutherie's, I ABSOLUTELY HATE THE CUSTOMER SERVICE at this location. I have worked in food service / management my entire life and the service here is pathetic. The young lady that works the register always has an attitude. She makes you feel like you've just ruined her entire life by deciding to be a customer. She never greets you, rather she just stands there with her head cocked to the side while waiting on you to inconvenience hop further by placing an order. The girls here are always wearing "house clothes." By this I mean long t-shirts covering up short shorts. In my opinion this is something you would expect more at a Hooters and not a family chicken restaurant.

All in all, the food is always great. I would just like to enjoy my chicken without the side of attitude that...

I usually love Guthries and I am sure I will change the star rating the next few times I return; however, my last experience here was anything but a pleasant one. I ordered a box with extra fries and no slaw, an extra piece of toast, and an extra sauce. paying for these things, one would expect to find the order exactly as you've said it. to my surprise, I had no extra sauce or piece of toast, OR fries and had slaw. I was in a hurry back home to study and didn't look in the bag until I got home to find all of this. I also paid 10.08$ with a 20$ bill and found that I had only received 9.75$ back. am I nitpicking at the lose of .17$. yes, because it is the principal of the matter and I am highly upset at the service I received...

Delicious chicken, but at what price? Portion sizes have gotten considerably smaller over just a years time. Unfortunately, prices have remained the same.

At what point do consumers say no more? When the tenders are eventually reduce to three pieces of popcorn chicken accompanied by 2 fries? No, say its not so.

I beg thee, Lord Guthrie, to return to acceptable tender sizes. Give 10 more fries with each order. Let the tenders return to their great sizes of days past. I used to feel the cholesterol come over my body in a wave as I ate that first tender. It was a warm, loving sensation that was (literally) near and deer to my heart.
