Starting with good is the appetizers. The korean pork belly was really good, it was not chewy and tasted perfectly crispy and soft. I love that and also the drink it was a blueberry lemonade I believe. Now coming to food it was not that amazing or good for the price. The po boy was really bad to me and my friend, the bread was too tough there was no cream or sauce inside and the fried oyster was tasteless, I needed to put tartar sauce to get some taste mostly. The Halibut was cooked good no doubt just too salty for my taste, like super and the corn was too peppery. Lastly the chicken fettuccine was good just lacking some flavor ? Like it was not good for the price honestly. But ya overall the experience was nice. You should try it one time for drinks and appetizers for sure. But more than one time nah maybe not. The atmosphere would be what I would go for again and just have their drinks cause they are great.

One Forty Grill has quickly become one of my favorite spots in Auburn! They've curated such a warm, hospitable team and the ambiance is so inviting. Their craft cocktails are can't-miss and the wine list has exactly what you need to impress clients at dinner or unwind from a long work day. From Unoaked French Chardonnay to Sancerre to the California home-run-hitters, the offerings are spot-on with their menu. The food is absolutely terrific! My repeat favorites are the pork belly and deviled eggs, both of which are easily the best I've ever had. Everything is so well seasoned, flavorful, and well executed. If you're in the Auburn area, add One Forty Grill to your dining list! Pop by sooner than later though, because seating is first-come, first-serve. And you may have to fight me for a seat.

Wife and I stopped by for dinner because our friends are always telling us how great it is. I didn’t think it could live up to the hype, but now I think they undersold it! Jonathan was our server. He had us laughing the entire night. The food was quick, but paced perfectly. We started off with the tuna poke and wonton chips, which was fantastic. After that, we both got the NY strip. The steaks were seasoned and cooked to perfection. All in all, I would say this is the best restaurant I’ve tried in Auburn and will be coming back regularly.

The food is so so, not bad but not too yummy for the price. The service instead is horrible. For the service there should be negative score here. First we asked for two drinks and the girl brought only one and to the wrong person. We told her about the other drink and she brought it very late and the glass was not even half. Then she brought food for everyone except one person at the table. She came and mention two times that they are cooking the last order but finally we learned that they forgot. When the checkout was done it was wrong. She put one of the orders in plus and almost doubled the price, she charged for one drink in plus and when she was asked about it, she mentioned that they have two types of that drink however in the menu they don’t have two types she just charged us in plus without telling us about it. She mentioned she is the only one serving when we got there and we understood but her managers should know that she was letting the clients waiting, mixing up the orders and all the above and also she was cleaning the tables with a cloth and cleaning substances and then with same unwashed hands she will go to the bar or the kitchen and bring drinks and food to the tables. Nasty! Shame and the prices are not cheap. Never will eat...

This place really came through in a clutch. We were looking for a nice restaurant to have a late lunch after my son’s Air Force commissioning ceremony. Most places were either closed between lunch and dinner and/or could not accommodate our party size or the various food allergy concerns we had for our guests. Easy ADA accessible entrance for my elderly parents who use ambulatory assistive devices. We were able to celebrate, have an amazing lunch and enjoy a great beverage selection. First decent chocolate espresso martini I’ve had in ages. Our server Grace was true to her name and was a blessing. Prices were reasonable. They were able to handle our large party and serve drinks, apps and entrees at a perfect pace. Open kitchen is always a plus. My only regret is that since my son has now graduated from Auburn it may be hard to find reasons to get back but we will make every effort to do so. Well done One Forty Grill! You made our day even more special and you helped us honor and mark our son’s accomplishments. I can’t thank you enough....

What Did I Just Eat?” (To the tune of a bluesy diner jam)

[Verse 1] Walked in hungry, thought I’d feast, The menu claimed a “culinary beast.” Ordered the special — big mistake, Now my stomach’s beggin’ for a break.

[Chorus] What did I just eat? Tastes like sadness wrapped in meat. Is that chicken or defeat? Either way, it’s far from sweet. Oh no… What did I just eat?

[Verse 2] Mashed potatoes looked like glue, Soup so cold, it caught the flu. The steak was tougher than my shoes, Even my napkin felt abused.

[Bridge] The chef must hate the human race, Or learned to cook in outer space. Even ketchup couldn’t save this plate, Should’ve left before it was too late.

[Chorus] What did I just eat? Burnt dreams with a side of deceit. My taste buds admit defeat, I’ll just chew my receipt. Oh Lord… What did I just eat?

[Outro] Next time I’ll bring a snack, Or just eat drywall off the shack. ‘Cause this place gave me the creeps… And a meal that...
