I ordered wings, the steak & shrooms calzone, the Nutella cheesecake calzone, and the curly fries. I’m not someone who normally writes reviews on my restaurant experiences. This is actually my first time writing a review in my 20 years of living because I don’t want other people to waste their money like I did. First of all, when my boyfriend called to order our food, he was giving the employee our address and CLEARLY told them we were in apartment 812 on the 3rd floor. The employee then said, “Apartment 812 and 34? Hold on.” And without even asking my boyfriend to repeat himself, he went and got another employee on the phone who laughed and said, “Are you serious?” Then, still without asking my boyfriend to repeat himself, the 2nd employee went and got a 3rd employee who asked him to repeat the entire address and finally this employee was able to understand the words “3rd floor.” I was by my boyfriend during the entire phone call where he spoke very clearly and the connection was fine. Even if they were somehow having trouble understanding him, all the 1st employee had to do was ask him kindly to repeat himself, instead it was treated like a joke. No trouble with the 3rd employee, but the first 2 were just complete idiots who lack any customer service skills. We were already skeptical about ordering from this place based on previous reviews, but we read some good reviews too and the menu looked outstanding, so we decided to give the place a chance. Turned out to be a TERRIBLE decision on our part. Not only was the food overpriced and late, but we paid for extra toppings and sauces that we did not receive. They were also out of cheesecake filling, which was not a big deal to me because the employee said she would just fill the calzone with extra Nutella, but it was nothing like I expected. The quality of the food was so bad that if I could give this review a negative 5 stars, I would. We also asked for several different toppings on our curly fries with a side of hot sauce and honey mustard, but we received NO toppings and a side of ketchup. How this place stays in business? Probably from suckering college students who have never eaten there before and think they’re going to get good food delivered to them at 2am. But I am here to tell you DO NOT FALL FOR THIS TRAP!!! If it is late and you are hungry then find somewhere else to spend your money or go outside and eat a free scoop of dirt because I promise it will be better than the food at Eddie’s Calzones. I am convinced they cook their food in the dumpster out back because it is TRASH. Please take my advice and never ever order food from this disgusting place. I want...
Read moreWorst experience I’ve ever had picking up food. I walked in and ordered 30 wings and a side of fries. Pretty simple right? Well apparently not for the two people working there. It took over 30 minutes to make my $43 worth of wings and fries. After waiting over 30 minutes for the wings, they were finally ready and my 3 to go boxes were brought out to me and I brought them back to my apartment. As soon as I got back, I opened the box and one box contained 11 wings, one bad contained 10 wings, and one box had only fries. So 21 total wings. Not sure who didn’t graduate from the 1st grade but last time I checked 21 doesn’t equal 30. After realizing they were 9 wings short, I called back eddies and they told me I could drive back and get the other nine. So I drive back to eddies and wait another five minutes for them to finish cooking the remaining nine wings. Finally I received the rest of the wings that I ordered, but I think it is pretty ridiculous to pay over $43 to get only part of your order, then have to drive back to pickup the rest of it, then get the rest of your nine wings for a total of 30 wings, fries, and two 10 minute drives to spend $43.40 on some wings and fries. Eddies Calzones will not get business from...
Read moreMy roommates and I went here, not once, but three times before COVID-19 hit and we realized that we never wrote a review about how terrible our experience was here. I would never ever recommend eddies calzone for any kind of food, wings, calzones, etc. One of roommate had food poisoning both times we went, had to go to the hospital once for how bad it was and I ended up getting sick from how undercooked everything was and how greasy it was. We ended up throwing our food away and leaving because we were absolutely shocked at how inedible the food was. The people in the kitchen were yelling the entire time we were there and the tables were sticky and window seals were covered with dead bugs, so we decided to eat outside but as soon as our food came out and we tasted it, we quickly threw all of it away and decided to leave. Different friends and I gave this place multiple tries because we really wanted to like it, but the food is definitely not up to standard, and you would think they would at least use decent quality ingredients with the outages prices they try to charge. Definitely do...
