This is a small restaurant affixed to the Fred Meyer building. I visited J's during the early afternoon and was pleased to see that there were a handful of lunch specials. I ordered General Tso's and teriyaki chicken combo with white rice. The portion size was generous and the food was amazingly fresh and delicious. The Tso's was delightfully crunchy and actually spicy, while the teriyaki was perfectly seared. The hostess was very friendly and kind, and the overall environment was clean. I absolutely plan to return here soon.

Take out order service was great and friendly. Place was clean and a few tables dining in while I waited. The food itself was tasty. We had the chicken and beef teriyaki combo, the chicken and gyoza combo, and a side of gyoza. The portions of chicken and beef were small and lacked enough teriyaki sauce on the meat. The gyoza had a more generous portion, 10 in total.

I highly recommend the lunch special. The portions are generous, and the taste is excellent. The service was also great. However, the inside of the restaurant is still quite messy. Overall, it's a good teriyaki place in Auburn!

I usually enjoy eating lunch here which is why my co workers and I had lunch there today. Unfortunately AMY (that’s the name she gave us) who works behind the counter was very rude and had a nasty attitude. We sat down thinking she would come to the table to take our orders, she did not. We had to ask if she was coming to take our orders and she told us to order at the counter. She never asked if we needed refills on our drinks. I actually asked her if I could get a refill of water and with an attitude she poured water into a cup with no ice and sat it on the table. At that point I asked her if it was a problem that my co workers and I was eating at the restaurant because her demeanor clearly indicated that she did not want us there. We were so uncomfortable eating. I will never eat here again nor refer anyone to this place. 1 star is too high of a star for the service we received today. The more accurate star rating...

I was on the way from Quincy to Wenatchee and I always call the teriyaki place in Wenatchee when I am 20 minutes out so it is ready to go. So I typed in teriyaki on my phone and called This spot Instead of the one in Wenatchee. When I realized I made the wrong call, I called this restaurant back and let them know what was going on. The lady who answered the phone and I spoke with was very nice and she was understanding. I offered to pay for my meal that I mistakenly ordered and she said she is unable to accept cards over the phone And that the food would Not go to waste. This lady was amazing and I don’t care if the food was amazing or good, but I would give my business to this restaurant every day because of this ladies, amazing energy and happy spirit. There are still good people in the world! And I am almost confident, good people make...

My boyfriend and I stopped in here solely because the smell of the teriyaki was irresistible. We happened to be just in time for happy hour and decided to split an order of the teriyaki chicken, which came with egg flour soup, rice, and salad.

The service we experienced here was outstanding. Despite ordering one entree, the woman who took our order brought us an additional soup on the house! The soup was served to us piping hot and almost immediately after we found a table. It was a textural and flavorful heaven (add a bit of black pepper to take it up a notch).

Our teriyaki chicken, while a little on the lukewarm side, was still tender, and the sauce was thick and flavorful, perfect for mixing with the rice.

Overall, it was a welcoming and delicious spontaneous experience, and we can see ourselves...
