My recent and first experience at Cheddars was rather disappointing. The restaurant was clean on the outside. On the inside, we saw that the plant holder directly above one of our seats was completely covered in a sticky substance and fingerprints. Which leads me to believe that the restaurant does not have proper cleaning standards in regards to Covid, for their dining room. The parking lot was also rather empty. Its a common thing I've noticed with restaurants during the pandemic. When we entered, it took a few minutes to get seated. Definitely less than 5 minutes so that wasn't much of a problem. We started off with the Cheddar's Trio Sampler. This came with 4 chicken tenders, chips, queso dip, and the Sante Fe Spinach dip. The spinach dip was rather watery. The queso tasted store-bought despite the menu saying it was homemade. The chips tasted stale and the chicken tenders were rather tasteless. However, the tenders were perfectly crispy. Each component was at least hot. Overall this dish would get a 2/5. For our entrees I ordered the Blackened 8 oz salmon with a loaded baked potato and broccoli casserole. The broccoli casserole came in a small bowl and the taste resembled Knorr's cheddar broccoli rice. This dish receives a 2/5. The loaded backed potato only came with cheddar cheese, sour cream, and butter. This dish receives a 2/5. There was no bacon as opposed to loaded baked potatoes from other restaurants. The salmon was cooked okay and was seasoned uniformly. This dish receives a 4/5. However, the rice underneath the salmon (comes as a side already included), was incredibly salty. The rice was cooked very well. It wasn't mushy and overcooked, it was just unpleasantly salty. This dish receives a 1/5. My fiance ordered the Bacon Cheese Burger with a loaded baked potato. The burger patty was extremely dry, overcooked and the patty by itself was bland. This dish receives a 1/5. For dessert we had the Monster Cookie which came with a giant chocolate chip cookie, two scoops of ice cream, whip cream, a cherry, and chocolate drizzle. The cookie was actually very tasty although one side of it was burned slightly. This dish also gets a 3/5. If ordering a flavored sweet tea, I highly recommend asking for unsweetened tea. The sweet tea with an added flavor is unbearably sweet. It's almost like you're drinking syrup. It also took our server longer than necessary to refill our drinks. The Maui margarita was much larger than I expected and the glass was spilling over when it reached the table. Other than that, it tasted fine. In conclusion, I'm not sure if we just didn't like the food or if it was actually the quality of the food that we didn't like. The staff was at least friendly. Overall our visit averaged at about a 2/5. I don't think we'd dine here again.

I love Cheddar Scratch Kitchen! We have several up north. The honey croissants are amazing and a must have if you are stopping in or eating out. The southern fried chicken was an amazing deal. For $3 extra you got an entire second chicken breast. Only issue is the curbside pickup is not connected to the text you receive when order like all other major restaurant chains.

First bad experience at Cheddar's and I'm still SMH! The restaurant was not busy and we were seated immediately...our server, Stacy took our drink order a few minutes after sitting down gave us some time to look at the menu. I ordered an appetizer and wanted to try the new blackened salmon salad (keyword BLACKENED). I usually take pics of my food to post on social media but I was hungry so I neglected to take a picture of my salad anywho...the blackened salmon salad was supposed to be fresh greens, tomatoes, carrots, parmesan cheese, glaze pecans, homemade croutons with pomegranate vinaigrette dressing. It's hard to tell (see pic) but I received a salad with fresh greens, cheddar and jack cheese, tomatoes, carrots and grilled salmon on the top. After I started eating I realize this is not what I ordered so I called Stacy over and told her my salad was not correct. I was explaining to her that I should have parmesan cheese and candied pecans and her response was "I don't know". So I asked her to check the menu she checked the menu and she agreed that the salad was wrong...but her solution to the problem was to bring me a side of Parmesan cheese and candied pecans I got the wrong salad it should have been replaced with the correct salad! my sister ordered a side of mac and cheese, so this is how it's normally served? (see pic) A manager is usually walking around checking to see if everything is okay but we never saw a manager...finished up the meal, left and I noticed most of the employees were outside congregating as opposed to being inside taking care of their customers...as for that Cheddar's I will never visit again! Stacy could have made our visit a lot better if she was a little bit more attentive to her customers...we had stacks of empty plates at the edge of the table, she didn't bother to pick them up, didn't bother to offer us dessert..it's like us being there was bothersome to her. My first job was a waitress so I know taking care of your customers, knowing your menu and making sure your customer's order is correct always makes a better waitress/server!

My family and I came here tonight from out of town around 7 pm. My sister and nephew went inside to get our party a table while everyone else got the kids out of the car, we were in the parking lot but the server would not seat her at a table until we all came inside is what she was told. We all got inside after a couple of minutes and there was still a 30-45 minute wait even though the restaurant wasn’t busy and several tables were open. The hostess and servers were just standing around talking, cutting up, one with an AirPod in her ear instead of seating the people who were waiting. There was 8 of us altogether with the children and one pregnant woman, we got seated at a booth that could fit 4-6. It was a tight fit and the table was sticky. The floors were dirty, condiment containers empty, behind the bar was multiple dishes stacked high. All of these things I could have looked past had we got good service and food but we did not. We barely saw our server. Our drinks took forever to come, not to mention only one person at our table got a refill and they had to ask for it, the rest of our cups were empty which she clearly saw and she never asked us if we wanted refills or brought any out. We ate our food without anything to drink. We ordered appetizers and our queso came out after the food did and the food also took a long time. The queso was cold and bland, my husband and I got loaded queso fries with our tenders and they also came out cold and bland. It was tasteless. I ate some of mine with the ranch but my husband didn’t want to touch his. We sat for over 45 minutes waiting to see our server and I could not find her anywhere. When I went to look at the hostess desk nobody was there so I went to the bar to talk to the bartender because that’s the area we were seated in and she I know could see me standing there out of the corner of her eye and I even said excuse me ma’am while she ignored me and continued to scroll on the register screen. I went back to our table and gave it a few minutes before I called the restaurant while I was in it and asked to speak to the manager, a woman named Jasmine was put on the phone at the same time our server showed up asking what the problem was so somebody around us told her to come over there. I told the “manager” our server was with us now and I would talk to her, most would come out anyways to figure out what the issue was but I don’t believe that was the manager. I saw a middle aged white man walking around and I’m pretty sure sure he is but when I went to get up to look I could not find him. I told the server we needed the check, it adjusted because of the queso, to go drinks and to go boxes. She took the queso off and gave us to go boxes, we didn’t get to go drinks and we were fine with it because at that point we were honestly scared they’d be tampered with. We had two young kids who wanted dessert but we decided to stop on the way back home instead of staying there any longer. The girl told us the check was on the kiosk even though it hadn’t been working, she got items on our check mixed up but we just sent money to each other. She stood over my brothers shoulder to watch him pay for several minutes I’m sure to see what kind of tip was being left. When we gathered our things and walked out a group of 5-6 employees was at the front by the hostess stand cutting up and socializing instead of working. I felt like the whole time our table was being neglected and our service sucked because all the employees in the building were treating it like it was a social event instead of a job. I tipped $5 even though the service wasn’t even worth that and I filled out the survey that’s optional after you pay. We love cheddars where we live but this location does not care about their...
