Delightful gem

The atmosphere was relaxed and had a small seating area. The music was modern pop, alt rock, and smooth. The cashier quaint and kind. She offered a military discount without being told i served. Coke fountain drinks, a few bottles and standard chips and cookies. The manager brought by the food, which was nice. He stopped by to all after i had finished for my opinion on his work.

I had the Vegi soup. It was a delightful, piping hot embrace on a cool autumn day. The soup was well seasoned and not overly salty. The veggies had texture and form. All except the potatoes which turned to mush.

The reuben, served warm with a just off sweet Sauer kraut. Thoroughly enjoyable. It was good balance of flavors with a nice crunchy wrap.

The roly pounder sets the standard for future wraps. Crispy lettuce, fresh veggies and a light dressing of mustard and mayo complemented the turkey, ham, and bacon very well.

Many years ago, we were stationed in Fayetteville, NC. It was there that I fell in love with Roly Poly, especially their potato salad. This location has the same menu. They have a TON of choices, including the option to build your own.

The food is freshly prepared and delicious. The service is good: I was greeted promptly and my food was prepared quickly. I ordered a hot Dixie Chicken, and it was ready within about 10 minutes during lunch time (around 11:30 am).

Y'all...THE POTATO SALAD!! If you like loaded baked potatoes, you will like their potato salad. It's creamy and herby and slightly smoky. Yes, there's bacon in it. I have spent the past 10 or so years trying to recreate it, and I can't seem to get it quite right. It's SO delicious! I'm glad to have this place in my neighborhood again.

I NEVER review on any website but I am so impressed by the service at Roly Poly that I had to. I placed an order at the crack of dawn on the day that I wanted an order delivered for a larger group. They called to confirm later that morning that they received my order and made sure that everything was correct. They even asked if I needed plates, which I would have forgotten to ask for!

They arrived a few minutes before I requested the food be delivered and everything was correct and delicious!

Finally, which I think is the best touch, they called a few hours later to make sure everything was great and the service was what I expected. It's rare to get the follow up and shows that they really care. I highly...
