Mi Rancho walton way — Restaurant in Augusta

Online order for pickup. It's not so much that the lunch crowd was busy, that's acceptable. It's that they didnt give the order to the back of the house until I got there after waiting in line. So now I have to wait another 30 min for my food. Not looking good for a 45 min lunch break. Not only that, but the online ordering menu is ALL KINDS OF WRONG. Lunch #2 is not as advertised online, it's something completely different. When I called to say they should fix it, they replied as if they didn't care; maybe they'll fix it if they feel like it. Good luck, hope your food allergies don't line up with whatever rando food you accidentally order because their menu is all kinds of effed up. To top it off, the food is very mid at best. Why does everything taste like it was layered with sugar? Why is it too sweet? The real piss in the cheerios was there was no salsa with the chips.

I was not especially pleased with price compared to my current usual place (it’s not that much higher) but I have to say the chicken was cooked better than I have ever had it in a GA Mexican restaurant. It was not dry and over cooked but just as it should be which I thought was impossible to find with Mexican food in this state. Also the salsa is much better than the other Mi Ranchos that add black pepper or something foul that made me stop going there for 13 years until this one opened right next to my work. Pleasantly surprised!

P.s. Came back to add this after having seconds, I am also usually disappointed with the stale or dry tortillas served in this area but today at Mi Rancho they...

Mango Habenaro Pollo was fantastic. Generous potion of marinated chicken covered in Mango Habenaro sauce. Rice was fluffy with a good flavor. The steamed veggies were tender yet still firm. Coke was well carbonated. Complimentary chips and salsa were also good. Festive music played. The place has been open about 5 months (I had to ask since everything looked brand new). It's well lit, open and airy. The staff were friendly, prompt, and attentive.

I didn't plan to go here. I just saw the strip mall and turned in to see if there were any restaurants. A happy find for sure.
