Update after their tone deaf reply: It was two stars now itâs one, the coffee is made with settled syrup so you have to stir it yourself or you get a mouthful of it, the ice melts immediately and waters it down, black coffee might be fine but who knows. I paid 50$ for two sandwiches and two coffees, the âsidesâ is a sliced pickle and a bag of lays. â15 minutesâ for probably fresh ingredients sure. But itâs never 15, itâs always 40 or more. I even asked for honey mayo and it came in a sauce cup unmixed, not ON the sandwich, how does that take 40 minutes?? Not once have I been served in less than 40 the last 5 times Iâve went. Youâre better off going to the store and making your own breakfast as it will genuinely be faster, cheaper, and probably taste better. It is also not âprobablyâ the last time it WAS the last time I ever step foot here, and Iâll let the people Iâve told about this place to never go as well (hint: they all agree with me that the wait times are atrocious)
Old review: The lunch food is ok but slowly becoming over priced, the coffee is slowly getting worse but the flavors are good. Iâd skip breakfast all together as I never had a good breakfast meal.
The biggest gripe? The wait time for food. Been here more than probably 30 times and everytime it takes atleast 30 minutes to get two simple sandwiches when thereâs not even 10 people sitting inside. I want to give it more stars but everytime I come everything but the food and staff is horrible. Sadly will probably be the last time I...
Read moreMy first visit here I told the waitress that I wanted a chicken salad sandwich. Once I found out there were grapes mixed in, I told her Iâd order something else. The waitress then said âwe can remove themâ so I ordered it and enjoyed it. Iâve since ordered the sandwich a few times and asked them to remove the grapes since it was offered to me that way before. No one ever gave me any issues. The last time I ordered it and requested the grapes be removed, the cashier said âweâll see if we canâ. The grapes were removed when I got my food. Today, I tried to order the sandwich and the barista immediately said âno we canât do that.â I told her theyâve removed the grapes every time Iâve ordered in the past. She said sheâd go ask the owner if they could do it. She came back and said he said no. I left without ordering. There was no line, no one waiting. It would have been excellent customer service for him to give me a scoop that had minimal grapes in it. He could have just picked out any large grapes he could see inside the scoop instead of not trying to please the customer at all. I only asked them to do this because they offered to do it in the first place and have done it multiple times since. The communication and consistency is lacking in this business. For the owner not to do something so small that his employees have had no issue doing multiple times in the past makes me not want to support this business anymore. I...
Read moreI had only heard of this place from friends, even though I had passed by it a million times I had never thought to go inside. What a pleasure it was when I finally decided to come in and bring my study materials! There are plenty of tables even though it is not a large place, the atmosphere is friendly and the coffee and food was delicious! I ordered a mocha with whipped cream and a little bit of raspberry flavoring and I swear I have never had a better coffee drink. It was smooth, flavorful, the perfect temperature (hot but didn't burn the bajeezus out of my mouth) and decadent. I had the lunch special for lunch which was a tuna salad on sourdough. I added tomatoes to the order, but that's the only thing I changed. The sandwich was brought to my table and I sank my teeth into a perfectly balanced bite of buttered toasted sourdough, lightly sauced tuna salad, crisp lettuce and juicy tomato. I will DEFINITELY be coming back here again, although I hesitate to tell my friends about it because I almost want to keep this gem...
