I ordered 2 (30) pc and 1(18) pc party box costing $253/w a tip to feed a hockey team. I asked that condiments be left off the sandwiches. Upon receiving the sandwiches I provided bags for each person so that they could be taken on the bus to the game.. After the team departed, I had 8 pcs left which we began to eat. My guests started to open the sandwiches to put condiments on them when we noticed the pieces we had left contained basically scraps of meat on them. When I asked the team how their sandwiches were that left my home, they said the same. I contacted the store directly where I spoke to an assistant manager Kaleb. He was kind, helpful, and very apologetic. Kaleb Said he would talk to his manager and that I should stop in the store the next day and he would process a refund that his manager agreed on. When I arrived at the store he said unfortunately his manager decided there would be no refund and only offered a 15% off coupon for a future catering order. I contacted the manager myself who said he would talk to the GM AGAIN and get back to me. It’s been 5 days and one message to him, and still no return call. Never eat here. They cheat!
The location followed up after my review and said that their inventory on the meat used for the week was accurate. Their comments back to me are insinuating that the pictures I sent and the story I told is manufactured. This location lacks customer service skills and the ability to admit the potential for mistakes that need attention. I will not visit this location again. Read moreI just so happened to visit this location after a particularly depressing 2 week period in my life. The culmination of my issues happened in the 2 days leading up to my visit. You see, I wasn't even supposed to visit Illinois at all that weekend. But circumstance, chance and pure luck sent me on a trip I didnt plan for. On the return drive home, I needed to pull over. Sick of the road, sick of the radio, quite frankly sick of myself, i took the closest exit and pulled into your lot for some much needed leg stretching. I decided i could do with a lettuce wrap, and headed into the store. I had no idea what was waiting for me. To management, an average customer or someone with an untrained eye, nothing was out of the ordinary- just 4 employees having a nice time together. But to me? A certified VIBESMITH? These folks were doing more than just existing. The smiles I received from Zach and (I think Everet? Maybe Emmit? Those smiles were more than just niceties requested by the enploye handbook. They were genuine. The smiles let me know that I really was welcome there, and even welcome to join their convo. So I called customer service all they said was to keep calling and they will put in a request for a refund. Then at 2:50 I got a notification my order was out for delivery and still didn’t deliver my order but marked it as delivered so not only am I out of food but money too. No one has answered the phone and I can’t go in because I’m at work. I work at a mall behind Jimmy Johns it should take no longer than 5 mins to deliver.
