I used to visit this location frequently when I lived closer. I’ve been in the area for work the last two weeks and visited twice. On my visit last week, I observed an employee being friendly to multiple regulars, then immediately was frustrated when I ordered, a TBR no veggies. She incorrectly repeated my order then appeared even more frustrated when I corrected her to my correct order. Today, I saw in the app I had enough points for a free sandwich. I began to show the woman my code and was going to ask the best way to redeem the sandwich. Before I could even ask anything, she rolled her eyes and was cutting off my question. Only after I told her if she’d actually listen to me I could ask my question did she lose some of her attitude. Then she proceeded to talk about me to another employee while I was standing there.
The first time I chalked it up to being after the lunch rush or she had an off day. Today, there was no excuse. Nobody else was behind me; there was no need to be rushed or impolite. I was going to order more and eat at the restaurant but felt unwelcome due to her behavior.
I understand not going back will not break this place. However, one employees conduct has been so unwelcoming I’d rather not enjoy Firehouse than feel like I’m ordering from the soup guy in Seinfeld. Heck, even...
Read moreThis was my first visit, and my last. I shelled out $28 for one decent sandwich and one weak sandwich, 2 brownies, and one large drink.
PRO:My lady actually liked her size large Italian sub, as it was fairly loaded, and actually had some weight to it. So i gave Firehouse Subs one star.
CONS:My size large Steak & Cheese sub was very light and lacked in every aspect and expectation. Toppings were next nonexistent with approx 3 slices of onion, 1/8 of green pepper, and total skimp of meat with hardly any cheese or listed remaining ingredients. Hence, the flavor was beyond boring due to ALL that lack of ingredients.
The customer service was just as bland as the sandwich. One could tell they did not want to be there. When i requested specific descriptions on the sandwich containers, to avoid a purported "Jimmy Johns mix up moment", the sub par sandwich maker was unable to understand my concern to avoid a standard practice of "Jimmy Johns sandwich swapping". I never understood why my lady hated Jimmy Johns, as i did not share those feelings. Now, thanks to Firehouse Subs, i understand that hatred for such incredibly weak service.
Firehouse Subs...just another sub sandwich shop...as in sub-par...
Read moreOrdered a sandwich with bacon using the firehouse subs app like I have done countless times at other locations, as soon as I arrived 15 mins later 4 mins after the app said my order would be ready. I walk in and did not see my sandwich at the pickup window I had to let them know I ordered and they walked over to some screen and as if they hadn't paid attention to it, said we will get right on it however when I got the sandwich it did not have the bacon I had clearly paid for and was on the ticket, the kid behind the counter looked at the ticket which clearly said the words ADD BACON And said I dont see where it says bacon, I felt embarrassed as he held the ticket up in my face, but i quickly noticed that it did say bacon rather large and asked him to please read it again he turned the reciept over looking and it and still did not see the word bacon on the ticket, again calling me a liar. He made a mistake 3 times and called me a liar twice. I have spent thousands of dollars over the years with firehouse subs I love them however this gentleman's customer service has now put me off from forever ordering again from this company. Train your...
