08/13/18 - This place is still around, but the food has really gone downhill. I started going there for authentic mexican food, but they stopped using queso blanco, and switched to processed orange nacho cheese, quality on par with a bowling alley. The salsa used to be made fresh daily, but something about the taste now is off, like it's sat in a fridge without a lid. The staff is still attentive and friendly, but you can definitely tell they a started cutting corners with the food quality.

08/10/14 - Still getting better! Since my husband and I found this charming little restaurant, we've become quite the regulars. Starting off just wanting some good authentic tacos, we sampled both the soft and crispy tacos, and were delighted. It's obvious a lot of care goes into the cooking, as each and every time we go back, the food and service improve. Now we've begun branching out, so I would HIGHLY recommend the steak nachos (it's worth it to pay the extra $ to add chicken too), my husband tried the fajitas tonight and they came out smelling great and tasting fantastic. The food NEVER disappoints, and to top it off, the service is incredible. The staff is friendly, the chefs are talented and hard-working, and the owner even took time out of his OWN dinner as my husband and I were leaving to ask us how it was, shake our hands, and welcome us back. I'm not one to leave reviews but I felt others should be warned of this place. This was the worst dinning experience we've ever had! We were greeted and seated promptly but it all went bad after that. One star is too many in my opinion. We gave them our drink order and it took over 20min to get the drinks. When we gave them our food order we were told no substitutions trust me when I say that we didn't ask for the moon. When we asked for the chips and salsa we were told about when were seated we were told that they hadn't "arrived". WTH? Arrived? From where Mexico? This was not a language barrier thing as our waiter spoke fluent English and I'm a native Spanish speaker. My wife ordered a blended margarita and it took about 30min for that to arrive, or should i say what they tried to pass as a margarita. It was liquid salt with some yellow coloring. After about 40min of being seated the food shows up. The kids food was scorching hot, to the point of being uneatable and my wife's food was ice cold. After having invested 40min into this horrible experience we had 2 starving kids and were forced to stay or we would have walked out. Let me finish off by saying that this was not during a rush or busy hour, there were 3 patrons in the restaurant. 2 of which arrived after us and got served way, way before us. Be warned! Bought me and my kid's a smothered burrito there today i ask for spicy and ask for 2 steak burritos & Ground beef. I know what steak looks like. They gave me ground beef on all 3 burritos and it wasn't spicy and the burritos were nasty. It had no taste to it at all, it also had hair in the inside of my box which clearly lets me know they don't wear hair nets. I ask for just a little beans they piled beans inside of my food and alot of rice. It just was a bad experience for the first time going. The girl who took my order couldn't understand what i was saying at all. The burritos were cold it look like it was just thrown together and they put it inside the box. It was a mess. I took everything back to show them and they insisted on it being steak and didn't believe i had hair in my food. Like i told the man i didn't see the hair until i looked up and it was right there on the inside of my box & i still had more then half of burrito. The chilli was horrible & watery & i will not eat at this place ever again. I was not happy at all today with how my taste, looked or the hair being in my box.
