Most of the time my service is good but wheni went in yesterday I feel like I got scammed. The problem that I had is I ordered my meal with a cost of $10.50. I paid using a 20 dollar bill. As the cashier was collecting my change, she looked at the girl making the sandwiches and that girl proceeded to tell me that they couldn't give me the 50 cents because they were out of change and asked me if 9 dollars would be OK. I agreed that would be OK but when I saw the cash register being closed, I noticed change in the cash register. I started to think if they do this to all their customers using cash, they have the potential to not only rip off paying customers but also rip off Jimmy John's since some individuals will not return due to feelings of mistrust. If the change really was the problem why do I have to pay the extra 50 cents? Why didn't Jimmy John's pay the extra 50 cents and give me 10 dollars back instead of 9 dollars when I should have received the correct amount of 9 dollars and 50 cents? If this happened to 75 individuals that payed with cash on this same day with a similar order and price range, that could add up to around $37.50 that Jimmy John's is making or if it is a scam, that someone else is making. After thoughtful consideration I am not OK with this and I will not be eating at Jimmy John's on this campus again. I guess if it helps the sandwich was good but not for $10.50 for a sandwich and a...
Read moreI want to start off by acknowledging that the worker with the red hair is doing their best. There were only 2 people working. One person, the lady with the red hair, was up front taking orders and making the food. There was, another worker, but I wasn't sure what they were doing... clearly the worker in the front needs help. It is clear that this location is extremely short staffed, considering the lunch rush and location. When I arrived, they stopped taking in person orders because there was too many online orders. The orders kept coming and coming. I used to work in fast food, and I'm pretty sure managers have the power to temporarily stop web orders. It's clear these workers don't get paid enough for doing the work of three to four people. Clearly no management is present to support their workers. Eventually, the lady greeting the customers started taking in person orders again, although web orders kept coming in. She was under quoting the wait time. It look us 45 minutes to get our food, but she was quoting people 10- 15 minutes MINIMUM. Due to the large influx of orders, the orders themselves are not coming out in order it was placed. Some people got their orders sooner than others. Additionally, I ordered a sandwich and got a wrap. Because they were so busy, I didn't want to make them remake it, so I left. This location is exploiting their workers. Take your business...
Read moreUPDATE- July 20, 2022. This has gone from bad to worse. Slow, unprofessional, and probably the highest number of order mistakes in the state of colorado. Waited 20 minutes for an online order and there were three employees in the booth playing on their phones while one poor woman was frantically trying to make all of the orders by herself. Dirty floors. Dirty table surfaces. UPDATE- 11/11/2021 WOW, THE OWNER SERIOUSLY NEEDS TO DO A SURPRISE DROP IN AROUND 1-2 P.M., TRASH ON THE FLOOR, NOTHING BEING CLEANED, EVERYONE SITTING AROUND LISTENING TO LOUD MUSIC. APPARENTLY, THERE IS NO MANAGER AT THIS LOCATION ANYMORE. Sad, how bad this once great Jimmy John's has gotten. Subway and Etai's are next door, thankfully.
August 3, 2021 UPDATE- my original 5 star review below is no longer accurate. The last three times that I've been into this location (in the past few weeks) the completely new staff is taking 3x and sometimes 5x longer to make the same sandwich. They also don't seem to be properly trained on anything efficient now. Nobody has trained the staff on face masks and how to wear a face mask. They look like idiots when every single person has the mask pulled down to their chin not covering their noses.
