Panaderia el Paisa Bakery — Restaurant in Aurora

Went to stock up for the third time on Saturday (1/8th) afternoon. The food's good, and it seems like they've got some kinda Mexican king cake right now, but I feel the need to point something out.

The cashier kept coughing without covering her mouth while bagging my food. She did turn her head to the left, but still. I was the only person in there with a mask, so maybe she took issue. Either bad manners, anti-mask, or a racial matter. No clue tbh.

Regardless, it's the only thing causing me hesitation with returning. 😐

On Sunday (12/11/22), I went in for the first time and paid with a credit card. On the next Sunday (12/18/22), I returned only to notice the new "no credit cards" sign in front of the trays. I loved coming here when I lived with a walking distance. I come here as frequently as I can when I'm in this part of town. Growing up as a Mexican kid in South Texas, this place is one of my favorite bakeries here in CO. The thing I love the most are the hours, followed by them making everything on site. The smells are always great and I've never had a piece of bread here that I didn't like. That being said be aware that can be busy, it can get crowded, if you want to buy a large amount of bread for an event call ahead or get there early. To whom it may concern I hope the owner of this business can resolve customer service situations. September 8, 2024 at approximately 12:45 pm the girl was almost mopping over us. It is a lack of professionalism in customer service. I have been coming to this establishment for 23 years and now the people who serve are very arrogant.
