These folks discriminate against Americans with Disabilities and I won't ever spend my money or time at this place ever again. The last time I was here I was misjudged rather harshly, inaccurately, and rudely asked to leave by the door guy who has no medical degree and seriously lacks any sensitivity training in regards to the ADA Act. I was accused of being high and weird so I was asked to leave less than 5 minutes of my arrival time and given no opportunity to defend myself at all. I'm a bipolar patient that resides in mania most days so unfortunately I'm always a bit twitchy and unable to sit still. In fact I was completely sober and just wanted to order a Coke and a basket of their yummy homemade potato chips. My friends that came with me were completely flabbergasted and appalled over the way I was treated and this incident is proof positive that American citizens with mental illness are unfairly stereotyped and more often than not are treated as third class citizens despite our abilities to be high functioning, intelligent, and productive...

I, shaking my head in amazement and appreciation, take a seat at the bar.
This is what makes a neighborhood bar. It feels as if the staff is making me part of the family. This would be enough by itself if the food wasn't so damn delicious, but it is and that is what makes this place even more special. There are no better $1 street tacos to be found anywhere on Tuesdays than here. Don't get me started on the chicken tenders, hand cut, breaded and fried to order. Frozen? Nope. House salsa? Spicy, flavorful and worthy of only the bravest palette. Quesadillas are better than any I've had. Chili cheese fries? Delicious sober, even better with a beer. All of the food is tasty and there is a great selection of beer on tap with something for even the beer snobs.
C'mon, Scooters, one or the other I could deal with, but both? No...
Read moreIf you like sports and want to watch it with great sound then this is your place almost every TV tuned into the cowboy vs 49ers game (49ers won btw) but very chill very fun outgoing crowd and friendly most the patrons are regulars but the place is really great to come to. The food was delicious I usually get the burgers cause they are to die for but I got the combo plater instead and it was also very good. Location is good tons of parking in the parking lot, and it's right off Alameda and Potomac st. Scooters is the place to be and I'll always pick this spot over anything else. They have 2 pool tables only 1 dollar a game, and around the other side towards the back is darts, and a few pin ball games. I'm not sure about the beer pong but I'm sure they will answer questions about that just ask! Servers and...
