Juana Tequila Modern Cantina — Restaurant in Aurora

Woah, this place is amazing. First, the restaurant was modern and clean, and perfect for a picturesque lunch or dinner. Also, I want to mention that the bathrooms were so nice and clean as well. My group of four ordered two margarita flights so we could try all of the flavors. We tried the mango, strawberry, guava, cucumber, passion fruit, and watermelon flavored margaritas. My favorite was the passion fruit. I ordered the molcajete carne, which I had never tried before. I was AMAZED. The flavor and quality of meats was impressive. The chips, salsas, and guacamole were super good and fresh. For dessert, we tried the caramel flan, tres leche cake, and the berry-filled churros. SO GOOD! The churros were my favorite. To finish, my group had some coffee to perk us up after such a great meal. I also want to mention Jaime, our server. He was so kind and attentive. He really made our first experience at Juana Tequlia memorable. We also had another woman employee that came to our table to check on us, I am sorry that I didn't get her name. But she was so kind and personable as well! She even cleaned our table in between our entrees and our dessert. Anyway Aurora, please try this place!! From the moment I walked through the door, I was completely wowed by the welcoming atmosphere. Being greeted at the door and seated right away made for a fantastic first impression.

Our waitress, Darlene, was exceptional. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the menu in complete detail and provided excellent suggestions, honestly, this made our deciding what we wanted to order a smooth experience, especially given the impressive versatility of your menu. We thoroughly loved the quesadilla birria tacos, the smothered burrito, and the 3 chili enchiladas. Each dish was an explosion of flavors in your mouth, showcasing the freshness of the ingredients used. The combination of the phenomenal food and Darlene's outstanding service truly made our visit a definite must-try, particularly for anyone who appreciates authentic “Upscale” Mexican cuisine. I was very impressed by the variety of different things there are to try on your menu. Wish we could’ve tried everything!!!

We thought we would try this place. Nice updated inside dining. There was only four groups in the whole place, sat in a booth. Started out peaceful, nice music in the background, Wonderful atmosphere. drinks were outrageously priced. But we ordered some anyway, mojitos were worth it margaritas- no. Menu items were very unique flavors, so we just ordered some appetizers. They were tasty. After about a 1/2 an hour, they raised the music volume, could not hear the person's sitting across the table. ask the waitress and the owner, if they could lower the music, we had to scream at them because it was so loud and they could not understand us, That's how loud it was, they did not lower it. It was nightclub, loud. The service was attentive and friendly, but when we were done with our meal, we didn't see them for a while. Finally Got our first bill, it was correct. Gave a credit card, when they brought it back They added on a soda... We didn't order soda, so we sent back the bill, Got the third bill, they now added on 20% gratuity. On a 2 person order, send that back, finally after 40 minutes we paid our bill to leave. I'm not sure we'd go back again....
