If you’re a beginner, don’t take the “All Levels” pottery classes, my first experience was horrible. A student whom I thought was an assistant to the teacher or their close friend, turns out just an advanced student, kept on watching my every move in the studio and corrected me like a police. It was so annoying and terrifying and not conducive to a creative enviro like this, especially for beginners like me. Staff and teachers are cool but other areas to improve: a syllabus or expectations for the class, a guided tour of the equipment/facilities, introductions for both teacher and students, don’t combine beginners/advanced in one class (there will always be that one person who thinks they know it all or...
