Starbucks — Restaurant in Aurora

The view of a parking lot from a huge, long, window. It was Perfect for watching live Aurora police shows with an agitated Aurora loca inhabitant. He was yelling into a cell phone. A rather angry loud monologue. A dark twist on the hilarious, Dude Where's my Car. And what did he say? Not Dude.... Nor Sweet. This was bitter, sour, and squinty eyed exclamations of " I don't motherf#$%ing care ... " I ain't fooling around, man this ain't no game." Think Samuel L. Jackson in Pulp Fiction pacing back and fourth. Instead of saying say what one more time. It was more like "Say you ain't bought me that car yet one more time" "You better have bought me that Motherf#$%ing car." Inside was a more than pleasant barista, likely divorced at least once. Now finding some peace serving coffee to strangers. Meanwhile there were two gentleman both reaching towards their retirement yrs providing color commentary to the show outside. Think Deniro's he was in Dirty Grandpa and Denzel Washingtion's character in Man on Fire, diligently watching and describing the interaction between the young looking police recruits and the furious carless man. I work in the same shopping center for 15 years and have been going to this Starbucks everyday and get the same drink for the past 20 years. Always so please with the service until recently. All the old barista left. I guess there's a new manager name Christina. She's terrible with making drinks, overcharge and always too busy chatting with customer waiting for their drinks to be made. One time I had to wait 15 mins in line because she was busy chatting with the guy waiting for his drinks. Another time I had to correct her how to charge and make my drink. And the last time I went in I had to wait also because she was chatting with her Spanish friend or customer. She can see I wasn't happy. She then say something in Spanish with the customer waiting for her drink. The customer turned over and gave me a stare so obviously she was talking about me. So since then I stop going in there and went to Starbucks across the street. Don't know how she got the manager position but she's...

This is my second favorite Starbucks in my area, outside of Iliff and Buckley. They have had quite a bit of turn over and one was the best Barista. She wasn't the most pleasant but she made a kick butt drink. On whatever you order. There location isn't always the cleanest (not nasty, but just the fine touches) , to add your drink isn't always made in a timely manor (including mobile orders). Now why I didn't give 4 stars is because they truly are there to do their job not make friends, or give to much small talk😂😂BUT YOUR DRINK WILL BE KICK Axx 😋.. and truth that what your there for. I'm used to being asked how my day is etc etc etc. Iliff and Buckley...
