For months, I have avoided this location - despite being less than a mile from my employer - due to the extended drive-thru times and constantly hurried employees. That changed today when, desperate for a fix and too stubborn to drive off-route, I met Mandy V.
Mandy is a kind, enthusiastic barista with perfect eyelashes, but that's not what makes her a coffee angel. When confronted with (yes, I'm one of thooose) a super annoying request for extra EXTRA caramel ("like seriously half an inch" - me), she chose to respond with empathy and humor, making it an experience I am still happy about hours later.
In the past, I have seen my tedious drink requests met with vague dismissal - just squeezing the routine amount of caramel into my drink presumably with the hope that I'll leave unbothered; to outright pettiness - pouring the entire contents of caramel drizzle into my cup for the MAjoR InCOnvenIENce I caused.
Don't get me wrong, I understand to an extent. There's pressure from management to complete orders quickly, stress is very real, and customizations can easily get out of control (don't get me started okay I know it's an actual pain to squeeze that bottle)...but to have an employee take the extra 30 seconds to make a connection with me in a situation I KNOW baristas don't enjoy was truly so wonderful. It made my day.
Mandy, you're a straight up gem. These five stars are for you. Thank you for not meeting my ask with judgment or frustration, but with a smile and a positive attitude. Starbucks is ridiculously lucky to have you....
Read moreI just visit today usually they always have peppermint syrup so I add it to the mocha Frappuccino’s I ask for one today and the lady that took my order told me that they don’t have it until the holidays I just said ok then just get me a regular mocha Frappuccino she said ok Usually this is one of the Starbucks that I go To since is on my way home today the line was long and they were taking forever when I got to the window I paid and I can see that the they are just standing there talking and not doing anything there were like 7 cars behind me ( never seen those lady’s just stand there they are always making drinks and busy so I tough no wonder they are taking forever and the line is that big ) so I waited another 5 minutes at the window they give me the other drink I order and I was just waiting for my Frappuccino when she finally give me my Frappuccino she told me We made a cookie crumble Frappuccino by mistake can you take it or you want to wait so we can remake the one you ask for 🙄I was just like nop I’m not waiting anymore we were there like 15 minutes already I wasn’t going to wait another 5 for them to remake it . I think is the last time I’m going to this location like I said is the first time this happend usually they are always nice and fast I’m not sure...
Read moreOmg i didnt even bother buying anything when they keep the area where customers are dirty i cant imagine the back. Lets start with when you first walk in, the doors look like its never been cleaned. Then the carpet you see first is torn up and dusty. Like really starbucks? Im actually concerned for the safety of child tripping over it. The area where the sugar is was full of sugar and what not. The floor MAN the floor throughout was gross had a bunch of tread marks and what not which means yall dont bother mopping. Who trained yall? Who manages this store? Who is over them? When you walk around you dont notice this? Anyhue lastly both bathrooms are gross. Mirrors, toilet, floor dirty. I mean i didnt buy anything any didnt interact with the staff but like i say yall keep the front dirty like this then yall might not be that clean in the back too.
