Modern Market Eatery - Fitzsimons — Restaurant in Aurora

Assuming it’s the store manager, but the guy running the show is great to worn with. My nephew was at Children’s down the street, so I placed a to-go order online to grab on my way home. There was a mistake on the order that I didn’t catch until I got home. Went in the next day and explained and asked if they’d comp me for the order. He explained what happened (they were out of an item I ordered on the previous order), apologized, didn’t hesitate to comp my order AND encouraged me to order whatever I wanted (didn’t have to be the same thing as the previous order), promptly prepared my new order; and gave me extra food.

I’m not someone who enjoys confrontation, even when I’m verifiably in the right, so asking for someone to comp my order always gives me a little anxiety. The way he handled the situation immediately put me at ease, and I am most appreciative.

Also worth noting: I have major autoimmune issues I keep in check with diet (so no meds). I don’t eat fast food — can’t. There are few places where I can eat with reassurance that my body will tolerate the food. Modern Market is one of...

I've been to several Modern Markets in Colorado. I love their fresh make your own salads and pizzas. I want to recognize the excellent customer service I received yesterday. Madison, yes that's a guys name, was very personable and made our overall experience at Modern Market that much better. He's the kitchen lead but stepped up to help run the register at the end of the night. It's our fault, we came about twenty minutes before closing. They open till 9 pm so we got lucky and we were able to get a meal. We ordered salads and soups. We also got some cucumber juice, which is my favorite there. Even though it was still his first month there and probably the first time at the register he took our order and made sure he made it just like we ordered. I’ve had modern market several times. The food is fresh with many healthy options. I went in to pick up an online order. I was greeted by a pleasant lady in the front and gave her my name. She said she couldn’t find my order. I looked it up on my phone and realized it never went through (I ordered early before they opened so I could pick up that evening before work). So essentially it was my fault. I was a bit flustered because it was my dinner for the night and wouldn’t have any other options. Dulce, the wonderful employee up front, was quick to get my order and have it ready in less than 5 minutes! I was so grateful and she was nothing but friendly and helpful!
