I went to the food truck and had the rib sandwich, beans, and potato salad.

The rib sandwich was delicious and tender. It does not come with the bbq sauce on it. It was on the side.

The BBQ sauce was not my favorite but it did pair well with the rib sandwich. It tastes a little more like bbq ketchup rather than bbq. But again, tasted good with their meat.

The beans are pinto and I am just thinking that this is just a Texas thing. I am used to having BBQ/Bush’s beans at BBQ restaurants. Note, the pinto beans are good though. And they let me taste them before buying.

The potato salad is on point. This one is like the potato salad eaten on the southeast coast. Mixture of mayo, mustard, relish. Not an unbalance of anything.

I am not sure what issue ppl are having with the sizes of the sides. They are quite standard size and price lol.

There are not many drink options (water, nestea, and big red) and I wish there was a lemonade option.

The customer service was good in person at least and they were kind.

I doubt i have enough "bbq" or "brisket" experience for Austin TXs home of the best bbq area, but out of 5 bbq places my family and i have been to this is the one we will be returning to only. I have not had any better brisket. Each time i take a bite i just want to call them and ask them while screaming "HOW DO YOU DO IT"?!! The guys that take orders over the phone are very nice, they give you prices, call you back if they miss your call, allow you to order with patients and always have our food hot and ready once we pick it up. The brisket is awalys juicy and tender as well as the ribs. Packaging is always important especially with covid going around so that wont disappoint either, but i will say if you plan to order over the phone make sure you have a cedit card ready as they only take over the phone orders if you make a payment using card. When my husband asked why, the man replied they had to in order to not waste any food. Apparently people would order over the phone and never pick it up, so its completely understandable. Wow!! This was my favorite place breaks my heart to write this, I have ate here for a while now and everyone has always been very pleasant when ordering. I placed an order for the turkey legs WARNING!!!! THEY SELL OUT BY 1:00PM! I asked my door dasher to please ask the man to not substitute something I knew I wouldn’t eat, I thank the man and everyone knows Customer service is KEY!! In business the response from the cook was OK LOOK WE SELL OUT OF TURKEY LEGS BY 1pm if you order past that don’t order it! I was taken back on his tone. The man did compensate the replacement with something else so greatful for that as I said thank you sir for working with me his response was “YOU GUD. All I’m saying here is food is DELICIOUS!!!
