Heard all about this place when we moved to Austin. Supposed to be all the rage.I ordered through a 3rd party pick up and delivery app. Needless to say I was not impressed. For 2 burritos at 30 bucks, - the 6 bucks handling/deliver and a 5 dollar tip for the driver, I would have been better off finding a street vendor and got more bang for my buck. The tortillas were just rubbery goo and the meat was fatty and gristle. Since using a 3rd party app there was not much Chipotle could do. The app would not refund my money even after I took the uneaten food back to the store. They issued a $12 credit to my account for a $30 order. Won't be using that app and most likely won't return. Sept. 17th 2022 After learning that our regular Mexican food restaurant were so busy, they were not taking call in orders. After considering our options we were going to try Chapolte. We were hungry and didn't want to wait for almost 2 hours for food. So we decided to give Chipotle another chance and call in our our order, mostly because there was no wait. I ordered a steak burrito, extra beef, with black beans and a grilled chicken burrito with black beans as well. Had to pay extra for thier "queso" as I was told they don't come with queso topping like our regular restaurant does. Arrived at the restaurant and explained I was there for a called in order. I was told it was at the "pickup" station and pointed in the direction. I was shocked to see several bags of orders left out in the open,out of view of any of the employees on a shelving rack that look like something you would use in a storage closet, no heating lamps anywhere in sight. Anyone could have just grabbed a bag and walked right out the door with it, or even tampered with any bag because as I mentioned before it was well out of sight of all the employees. I was never asked for an order number nor any verification that the order was indeed mine. Only a short 6 minute drive back home, as expected everything was cold. Both burrito wraps were paper thin, almost transparent. The chicken was full of grissel. After just one bite, taking 6 chews he spat it out and tossed it in the trash. After looking at it, it contained only 3 small strips of chicken,including the one he tried, and the majority of the burrito was just filler, namely the black beans. The "fajita steak" was just as bad. I had to break down the burrito which was supposed to be extra meat. By the time I was done cutting away all the grissel and excessive fat just by the look I had maybe 1.5 ounces of meat. Removed 3/4 of the black beans and tried my best to reshape it back into a burrito, the best I could do looked like a mini sized taquito. Read moreIt was honestly shocking how badly they messed up our order. Me and my friends ordered through the app, all getting our own individual bowls. Most of us even got guac (an extra charge which is fine, but you’d think they wouldn’t mess that part up) and they still managed to mess it up. Literally none of the bowls had anything we ordered. I had a bowl with chicken, black beans, guacamole, salsa, and tomatoes and while it was labeled with all of that, the bowl had beef, lettuce, etc and wasn’t filled even halfway. The food was cold, dry, and the meat was tough. This happened to all of us. And it’s definitely a huge problem considering most of my friends are vegetarian and were all given meat items.
I order from Chipotle literally every week (the RM 620 location, which is far far better) and it was my first time trying this location, safe to say I’m never going back. Clearly this is a large problem considering all the other reviews.
As someone who owns a restaurant with my family, this was absolutely unacceptable. It took them over an hour to make our order, and then didn’t even do it right.

Read moreI place an order to go online for pickup, for a burrito salad bowl, chips and salsa and a side of queso. It was an hour before clothes and yet they were closing everything down already and seemed very rushed. I placed the order 20 minutes before even arriving and it still was not ready. Tables were being shut down and there was hardly any places sit. I got home, unable to eat it right away, So they were closed when Finding out by order looked sparse and taseted not so fresh. Starting with my salad having not a single piece of lettuce, The bag of chips wasn't even halfway full, the queso tased like a tin can, the chicken had a very unpleasant taste to it I couldn't tell if it was beef or chicken and like it had been sitting out for quite a while. Being after hours I did it right on their websito let them know about it and I was offered a free drink at my next visit. First of all I didn't order a drink nor do I ever order a drink when getting take out. I would expect that they would at least compensate for an item that I actually purchased.
