Funky Sol Coffee — Restaurant in Austin

Three stars for great staff, a nice atmosphere and a cool back story about their airstream renovation. Plus for me they are in a great location, and parking is easy. Unfortunately their matcha lattes fall into that category of "just tasting like milk." They aren't using enough matcha powder, so it's disappointing and you can't taste the matcha. I've been three times with the same results, and there are too many places in Austin that do a matcha right for me to keep spending money here. Such a cute, tucked away spot complete with fans and misters so you stay cool in the summer heat. The trailer itself is adorable, and they’ve got the best merch. The baristas are full of energy and make you feel instantly welcome. Drinks are a mix of fun coffees, amazing matcha, and creative combos that make you want to come back just to try them all.

The best coffee truck experience I've ever had in Austin. They have a fun and unique selection. But I measure a coffee spot by the espresso they pull, and this place pulled a perfect shot.
