Gattitown — Restaurant in Austin

I never write reviews but this place is SOOOO terrible and disgusting, I feel obligated to. As soon as you walk in the floors make noise when you walk on them, and this is EVERYWHERE in this gross place except for the bathrooms and NOT for a good reason. The bathrooms are literally DISGUSTING! The floors have such a thick film of grime on them, you make foot prints when you walk. There is no telling how many days or weeks worth of pee and feces is on the floor bc it feels like you’re walking on a waxy film when walking on them, even the family RR! The stalls are so gross and in need of cleaning, trash bins are over filled in stalls AND the ones by the sink. Soap dispensers are empty and broken ones are just laying on the counters (at least put it away until it fixed.) I informed a manage how gross they were and she just said ok we’ll make our way that way. More than an hour later all they had done was pick up the trash on the floor and that was it!! If that was was their idea of “cleaning” , how disgusting is the back! I absolutely regret having my family eat there. I should have known when 2 out of the 3 fountains drinks were empty for ice and all 3 had nasty tasting sprite so we have to change all of the kids drinks. Mind you this is midday on a Tuesday when school is in. So no excuse that it was too busy or any excuse for that matter. There were PLENTY of people there and at least 3 of them were managers which was appalling to see that none of them had any standards what so ever! And it just gets better. The game lady attendant was an absolute joke. Quite a few games, you had to get her in order to play them and when asked you would think you were asking her for a kidney! I wanted to ask her if she had an “eye condition” bc she rolled them so much. Even my 7 ur old daughters sensed it. Absolutely terrible experience all the way around. You could not PAY me to change my review or to even try that place again. I WOULD NEVER GO BACK. that place needs ALL NEW MANAGERS with actual standards or someone to at least pop in and check in on things to see that place is absolutely...

I went in it took about 15 minutes to pay to eat

young people were pushing senior citizens out of the way and cutting in front of them

Excuse me handicapped senior citizens

when I finally got up there one whole road was just pepperoni pizza and there was cold pizza on the other kiosk

A guy asked me could he make something for me

I said how about Canadian bacon and pineapple

He started to tell me why they don't do that

Since when I ask???

but I really couldn't understand him I said could you just make some fresh pizza that's not pepperoni so I can eat and get out of here

I finally took some a piece

I didn't want because that's all there was I think it was supposed to be a spinach pizza but it didn't have spinach much anyway on it

There was really nothing else so I got some spaghetti and put some sauce on it then I had to wait 15 minutes for some forks with a whole line of anxious fat people

Tables were dirty everywhere the pizza couldn't have moved slower if it would have had a building on top of the people trying to make it

The forks were all wet and some of them had thousand island sauce on them

I go ahead and shut down because I've got to eat before I get sick I sat there about 10 minutes waiting to see if they were going to put something good up and started getting sick to my stomach

I got up to try to find the bathroom to throw up and it was so full you couldn't move

so I ran out the front door and threw up and just left

I will say this they're good about hiring handicapped people

but before you do that you have to ask the other people that you're hiring are they willing to take up the slack For special-needs employees

because none of these people were willing to take up the slack or do...

For starters I loooove gatti's pizza!! It was very sad the day we went with our party of 7. We're very patient and I know everyone suffering with staffing, BUUUT ... There was no tables open not because it was full but because the tables weren't clean. 4mins waiting to see a worker, we asked the gentleman of he could clear off the table for us, he said yes... 6mins later he came out of the room I assume is where they take the dishes... With a bucket... We ended up stacking all the plates and cups for him and put it on the table beside us (that wasn't clean either) we then said can we just have a rag to wipe the table down. He went back and got the small bucket with water and the rag in it. Left the table soaking wet, we had to go find napkins just to dry the table. Then all the food was definitely sitting there for a while... When the new pizzas came out they we burnt... It was definitely not a pleasant day, and we usually come here for the Buffett, but at that point felt we should have just ordered from the riverside location and just had it all fresh. Then we get to the arcade part.. felt like the heater was on in there. Everyone around us back there was stating it was hot too. Then when we went to redeem a gift for the kids there was nobody there for 8mins. Then a girl came in there with her finger in her mouth then grabbed my child's gatti card and scanned it... I'm sorry buuut COVID or NOT that's just disgusting and definitely not sanitary!.. Sad to say but this experience was very sad and...
