Hardee’s — Restaurant in Austin

Food was very slow to come out. There were several other customers waiting who had been there 20+ minutes. We received our order in bits and pieces. We waited 33 minutes to receive the first part, which was 3 sandwiches. Only one of the sandwiches was what we actually ordered. The other 2 were sandwiches that others ordered and then no longer wanted because it took so long (they asked us if we were OK with getting and "upgraded" sandwich). We then received two kids' meals, a little later, we received another kid's meal, a little later, we received the last kid's meal. After we were already done eating, we received the fries that should have come with our meals. In all, it took 50 minutes to get all of our food. There was never more than a few other customers in the store and a few cars in the drive-thru. It was clear no one really knew what they were doing. They gave us a card for 3 free combos, however we stopped as were were traveling and don't live near that location. Disappointing...

The person who took our order had no idea what she was doing and you could tell she was new since she didnt even know the menu but that happens. What really upset my group was when she had asked for help the person whom she asked pressed a button and walked away, she didnt even actually help with what the girl needed done and than got upset when she asked again. My whole group all work in fast food and was disappointed with how the more season employee didn't actually help the newer one.

The food was fine, although we ended up getting more tenders then we ordered (or even payed for) no dipping sauces that we asked for (didnt even ring up the right ones) and the order wasnt really what we had asked for but with how confused she was with the first meal we asked for we just went with what ever she could figure out...

The second night in a row I was going to stop here and all the lights were off and they looked closed. I went on anyway asked why the lights were out, they said oh, I should probably turn them on. Wile waiting for my food a couple Cam in to order and the guy behind the counter said they had to take it to go. When he asked why he said were closing soon. I looked at my watch because I had asked when I came in how late they were open and they told me the lobby was open until 10 and drive through until midnight. It was 8:30. The food was good and they were friendly but someone needs to be incharge and take control or they won't be around...
