Caribou Coffee — Restaurant in Austin

Worst experience at a Caribou. The young lady working rushed me through my order in the drive through. She spoke so fast I could not understand what she was saying. When we got to the window we received the same, she didn’t even great us, just gave me my total and grabbed my card, shut the window, came back handed my card back without saying a word, handed our drinks out aggressively. I asked for pup cups for our dogs and she says, “We don’t do that anymore but here’s some dog treats.” I asked why because every other Caribou we have been to gives the dogs cups of whip cream, even McDonald’s does that! And our dogs look forward to that every time. It was a huge disappointment and not to mention her attitude and tone was very rude. I was unable to read her name tag as she moved so fast and spent little time tending to us customers.

I was not pleased with the customer service we received at this particular location. Even Albert Lea and Owatonna hand out pup cups with dog treats, Albert Lea charges. I am very disappointed in this Caribou Coffee. This past week was a special week for perks and this caribou wouldn’t take any perks. They said “perks are down.” Gift card reader isn’t working either. This isn’t the first time this has happened. I am a loyal caribou customer and have received much better service at caribou’s located elsewhere. I have experienced times when the drive through perks/gift card is down but if you order inside, it will be working! They will say can’t take them without going to the other computer. There is no consistency with this location. I suggest someone from corporate get involved and change this location...

I give up. I have sat in line in the drive thru for 20 min 4 times when the line was just a few cars deep. The last straw was when I waited 30 minutes in the drive thru. It’s been about 4 weeks and I decided to go back today. I decided not to risk getting stuck in the drive thru so I went in. I walked in at 10:50 AM and walked out at 11:25. Just ridiculous. I ordered a med iced latte with almond milk. Pretty simple. While I was waiting for my drink they made 6 drinks that were not correct. I give up. I love their coffee but will not continue to go to...
