We had placed an order through the Beyond Menu app, and weren’t give any text updates about the order like it said we would. We picked up the food, brought it home and saw that they gave us steamed rice instead of fried rice for all 3 orders. Two of the chicken items also had no flavor, so we called to see if we could get the fried rice and also if we could change the chicken items to something else since it wasn’t good. The woman on the phone kept rushing us and saying “yeah yeah, we’ll talk about it when you get here and we’ll remake the order.” We get there, and I tried multiple times to tell them that we wanted to change the two bad chicken items to something else. The hostess told me that was totally fine and she would let them know in the back (twice), but after waiting 20 minutes to get the remake, the manager told me that she couldn’t/wouldn’t switch the items. What was the point of waiting around for the remake after we were told we could get a different item just to be given the same bad food? It’s a shame because their crispy honey chicken is good, but I don’t know if I’d want to come back here after the bad customer service and mostly disappointing food. We ordered online and we’re supposed to be notified when it was ready, the text never came. We went just hoping the food would be ready, it was. We took it home to find out we did not get the fried rice we ordered we live 15 min away so a 30 minute round trip. We came back and asked for the now cold order to be remade, and that two of the entrees were bad and needed to be remade. They said yes they could do that then after waiting another 20 minutes they change their mind and tell us they won’t do it. We then had to fight with the manager to get our money back which said could only be done on the app. We told her we would be fine if they would just change the order but we weren’t leaving without money, or food.
