Pretty disappointed in how target is doing things, I would have expected this at wal mart but never target. Last night I made a late night target run got there at 10:15 and went straight to guest services to exchange something. I left there at 10:18 and from that time until 10:44 I lost my key cles card holder. I checked the services to make sure it wasnāt there, nothing. Double checked my car to make sure, nothing. Back tracked my steps, three times because I know exactly where I went and what I looked at, nothing. The guest services told me I could call in the morning to have the security team review the footage. And thatās exactly what I did. Called at 10 a.m. and gave the guy some info. Realized after we hung up he never even asked what I was wearing but figured theyāll see if they start at the time I told them and the location. 6 hours later and no call. So I decided to call, the guest services guy told me he would check, comes back and says they saw nothing. I said thatās so strange because they didnāt even know my appearance or who to even follow even though there wasnāt many people but how did they know to follow me. He told me he would check with security again and placed me on hold. Comes back and says they are really busy but I can take your description down and I donāt know exactly how long this will take. I said thatās fine, Iāll call everyday to check because now Iām really annoyed. He then hangs up on me... doesnāt take my description nothing. I called back and he instantly says can I place you on hold, and I asked did you just hang up on me? He says Iām sorry I thought the conversation was over. Iām not sure why it would be without me giving my description. This is such a serious matter to me, not only did I lose all my cards and cash in my wallet I also lost myself social security card along with my babyās because I forgot to remove them from an appointment. For target to just brush this off is really annoying. For the manager to not even take me serious is seriously heartbreaking. I know someone or an employee picked my wallet up, I know. Crazy thing is the exact same thing happened to my friends son at this same target and an employee ended up picking it up and returning it to guest services but that was never proved. I just wanted some peace of mind knowing someone indeed did take my wallet but I canāt...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis morning I went for our weekly Target run, where I usually spend an average of $60-$100. My 1 1/2 year old daughter got ahold of my wallet on the drive over and emptied the contents & of course I couldn't find my red card before walking in. At check out, I asked the associate if he could look my card up or grant me the 5% discount. He explained they couldn't look it up but he could call a manager & they could probably give the 5%. The manager, "Chapa" walked up (already with an attitude). I explained the situation & she immediately said she couldn't do it. I asked if she couldn't or wouldn't & she said they couldn't. To which, I replied, "I know that isn't true, because I've seen it done before." She said she wouldn't do it because she has to account for discounts and continued with her attitude. I told her, "it sounds like you're being lazy." She then walked off and proceeded to talk about me to another customer, in close proximity so I could hear her. I ask the check our associate her name, and he said he wasn't sure because she goes by a nickname. I started walking towards her asking for her name and she continued to walk off and ignore me. I continued to say, "hello, I'm talking to you, what is your name?" She then got on the walkie talkie and called security. Mind you, I'm a 30 year old 115 lb. female with my 1 1/2 year old daughter in the cart. Security came over and I said I want to know her name. They answered with Chapa and I asked, "what is her real name because the associate just told me that was a nickname." They continued to say Chapa was her name. I am disgusted at the example this so called manager just set for her employees. If you cannot handle a customer asking for her discount, which she deserves, or for someone asking your name. I don't believe a management role is the best fit for you. And, as a customer who spends a lot of money in Target, I'm deeply saddened by the treatment I received. I guess I'll start shopping on Amazon...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI love Target! I am here almost every day. After my recent experience, I will no longer be shopping at this location. They are extremely unhelpful and unwilling to make any kind of effort to remedy a situation. I bought a Nintendo Switch eshop giftcard for Super Smash Brothers. I checked out as normal and was NOT told a very important key to being able to use this game: KEEP YOUR RECEIPT! After I attempted to play my game on Christmas, I couldn't download on Nintendo eshop because I needed a code. Where is this secret code, you might ask? ON THE RECEIPT TO WHICH I NO LONGER HAVE BECAUSE NO ONE AT TARGET TOLD ME TO KEEP IT (even after I asked the lady if I needed anything to activate the gift card) !!!! Here's how I tried to resolve the problem on my own: Contacted Target customer relations- They told me to go to the store I bought the card from and they'd be able to help me. I went back up there to reprint the receipt and of course-- no code on duplicate receipts. Called Target gift cards- I spent an hour just on hold.... Went on the Target app. There is a part for purchases. Underneath the giftcard there's a "send" button to email your receipt.- spoiler alert: still no receipt (email on file is correct). I went back to the store today to see if they could A.) return the card I bought and issue a new one that would have the code on the receipt or B.) just email me my receipt with the code. They could do neither, of course. I am so frustrated and flustered at this whole experience. You are telling me that the receipt from the original purchase is the only one in this whole universe that has the code for this $60 game on it?!? Come on...
