Cracked my iPhone screen in an accident. Apple tested the phone and determined only the screen was damaged, but wanted $400 for repair so I went to CPR. I selected the 120hz OLED aftermarket panel for $200+ dollars. The first screen was so grainy that it was hard to read in low light. CPR replaced this screen with a second however this latest screen doesn’t wake up every 5-10 attempts to power on the display. It simply goes to minimum brightness. I tried to replace this latest screen and was told it must be the phones internals despite Apples diagnosis. A few weeks later and the display is grainy, the colors are completely blown out, and all around the dynamic island are dead pixels. CPR refused to return my money and never reached back out despite telling me they would install another panel from a new delivery. Lesson learned. I should have paid Apple to replace the screen.

This store forced me to write a review before I even left the store, while I was still there. I did not actually get to try out my phone first. That was weird. I am not at all happy with what they did. I had given them a $50 deposit so they could order me a new battery for my cell phone. They later called and told me they had my new battery, so I went in to have it installed. It was a falsehood. They put in something different from the original and that would charge only up to 85%, supposedly to extend battery life. They should have asked me first. I do not trust this store and, if I were you, I would not trust it either. They are both unscrupulous and mendacious. P.S. Now the battery they put in is not charging at all! Look what I found today! I can change my own battery!

**Five Star Review for Cell Phone Repair** I had an excellent experience at this cell phone repair shop, and I highly recommend it! Mark, the technician who worked on my phone, was incredibly skilled and efficient. He diagnosed the issue quickly and had my phone back to me in perfect condition in no time. His attention to detail and professionalism were truly impressive. I also want to mention Victor, the manager, who ensured that everything went smoothly. He provided exceptional customer service, keeping me informed throughout the process and answering all of my questions with patience and expertise. Overall, the service here was outstanding, and I wouldn't hesitate to return for any future cell phone repairs. Thank you, Mark and Victor, for your exceptional work and dedication!

The Process if you have basic insurance with T-mobile:

Friday - Shattered my screen right before midnight (completely black but still turns on), remembered I had basic insurance, logged into T-mobile, submitted my claim to Assurant right away, and agreed to pay a deductible ($30). They said they would reach out within 24 hours. Constantly checked my email for claim approval since I was heading out of town Sunday.

Saturday - Was impatient and went in to CPR Cell Phone Repair to see if I could talk to someone about getting it fixed right away and request a reimbursement from insurance later. Victor was super kind and oh so helpful! He answered all my questions, and wisely told me to wait since it would be pretty expensive without claim approval first especially if I wanted an OEM screen. He also gave me the store info for the city I would be traveling to in case the timing didn't work out. Walked out of the store with a broken phone but really appreciated the advice!

Received an email at 11PM from Assurant to confirm payment method for the deductible, gave them missing info, claim was approved shortly after, and I made an appointment first thing Sunday morning.

Sunday - Dropped off my phone with a different person working the front, and it was repaired within the hour (didn't catch his name but also super nice and helpful). Victor yelled "HELLO!" from the back :)

It's been a few weeks, and my phone screen works exactly as it should. So pleased with my experience at CPR Cell Phone Repair and highly recommend them (and...

I brought my mobile phone in a couple weeks ago, after stupidly walking into Barton with it in my back pocket. I was told it would be a ~$70 up front fee to for a general cleaning, then if still needed, the screen may need to be repaired at an additional charge, which I was fine with. They did not have a screen in stock so had to order one, thus it took about a week before I got the phone back. While the phone is now 'working', unfortunately, it is not fully functioning. I found out within a day of getting it back that, 1. the camera auto-zoom function no longer works so it is basically impossible to take photos as everything is out of focus, 2. the speaker is still damaged, it makes buzzing noises and I am unable to make calls using speaker phone as no one one the other line can hear me. I have to now use a headset to make calls. While I'm glad to have gotten the phone working at all again, as there was a lot of data on it that I would have lost otherwise, I also cannot say I'm fully satisfied since the phone is no longer fully functional. It may be that these elements were beyond repair due to the water damage so I don't think that I have any recourse as far as bringing it back. Just leaving an honest review. In every other respect the service provided was satisfactory. If they would like to offer to try to make the additional repairs at no extra charge I will be happy to...

Updated Review – Poor Quality Repair & Rude Service

I regret ever trusting this place with my iPhone. While I initially praised them, the screen they replaced stopped working just four months later. When I went back, I was shocked—not just by the fact that their warranty is only 30 days, but by how dismissive and unprofessional they were.

The employee and store manager didn’t show the slightest concern. No apology, no responsibility—just completely ignored us. Clearly, they don’t stand behind their work or care about customer satisfaction once the money is paid.

The parts they use are clearly poor quality. If you have an iPhone, skip this place and go to the Apple Store. You’ll pay more, but at least you’ll get a proper repair and respectful service.

I wish I had never stepped foot in this store.

The previous manager Victor is no longer in the store. Wish he was here and would have...
