Incredible Burger — Restaurant in Austin

This burger joint is in the mall food court. I rarely eat burgers, but today I made an exception. This is fresh, cook to order, real burger so expect to wait a few minutes longer than at In & Out Burger. I had them hold the onion and if you are sensitive to spicy food have them hold or replace their special sauce.

This burger is unique and very delicious. I would put this in the gourmet burger category. I loved the secret sauce that is not mild, but medium heat. I prefer to use a fork and knife when eating gourmet burgers so I was able to leave the bottom brioche bun to soak up the juice (not grease). It was very filling even without their fries and a soda. The place just opened for the day.. I ordered a burger, fries, and a soda. While my burger was cooking, I got to looking around the kitchen. What I saw was a shock. The kitchen was so filthy, it looked like they literally have never cleaned the place. There was dust caked on the counters, the soda fountain, and grease and dust caked on the rack just above the grill, probably falling onto the food. Makes me wonder what the back of the house looks like.. I give this eatery 0 stars. If you eat there, beware of the possibility of food poisoning. The health department should shut...

Burger was good; however, cashier added a 20% tip to our bill without our consent. He said the total (without tip), then quickly clicked on the tip option himself hoping we wouldn’t notice (but we all noticed) and then gave us our receipt like nothing happened. If we would have had the choice to select a tip (like normal places that ask for your consent on how you use your money instead of stealing it), he would have gotten a larger tip than 20% - so joke’s on him.
