I have reviewed many, many restaurants for Google (I am almost a level 5 local guide.) I am generally easy to please and have only once reviewed below 3 stars, but this was easily my worst experience in fast food history. Around this McDonald's are many other fast food places in walking distance, but I decided to choose McDonald's because the app has good coupons. I go inside and start to order my food. I pull up a BOGO on the app but the employee informs me it says it was already used. I refreshed the app and showed her it was still there. No go. Considering it took her about 2 minutes to get my order on her screen (I understand, new people are a hassle and that's not a problem) I was a little irritated when the cashier started to act annoyed with ME. My friend JUST used the app before, so I know it's working. I know the mangers can override it so I just ask her to call one over. There is a line behind me getting antsy and I feel bad but I wanted this to work because it's the reason I came. The manager comes over and tried the code and said the same thing, shrugged, and walked away. I had never in my life felt more hatred for a individual store then at that moment. I tell her just cancel the BOGO and she calls the manager back who angrily walks back, cancels it, rolls her eyes, and walks away. Okay now I'm loathing. I order something else and frustratingly sit down. I go back later to order something and for some reason thought "maybe the app work this time?" Dumb thought, Daniel. As the OTHER cashier informs me...yep, the coupon has already been used. I say cancel it, and was barely too late biting me tongue. She calls the manager. The manager practically came charging around the corner on all fours like a bull. I considered running, but the speed and aggression that went into deleting that order and returning to her den of darkness left me standing there in fear and shock. Read moreI feel like a lot of traffic comes through this McDonald's location. Whenever I would come during the day, it would always be pretty packed but there wasn't really a long wait on my food or anything. I think that they prioritize efficiency and speed so that everyone can leave with their food happy. I used to come to this McDonald's at night time which was also pretty great cause there was no one else so the service was really quick. The only thing is that they have the same issues as every other McDonald's so their ice cream machine would always be broken so no mcflurries, no shakes, and sometimes no smoothies. I docked a star because I have had a lot of times where my food came out and it was cold. I never really go back to tell them or tell them specifically that I want fresh or, at least, hot nuggets but it never bothers me enough for me to actually say something on the issue to them. Read moreIt was 2 a.m. and I only went to McDonald's because I was starving, didn't want to cook and Burger King was closed. The drive-through cashier was extremely polite and did a great job handling the line of customers that circled the restaurant. The food, however, was awful. The fries were lukewarm and badly needed salt which they did not include in my bag and I neglected to ask for. The burger did not contain the extra pickles and onions I requested though it did contain the extra salt that was missing from the fries - but only on one corner (I know circular burgers don't have corners but somehow they managed to put a bunch of sodium there - go figure). I also ordered a small coke, which had no ice but was very watery. This was my first visit to McDonald's in about 12 years and I'm certain it will be at least another twelve before I see those Golden Arches glowing brighter than the moon and allow it's magnetic pull to reluctantly lure me in (all those words and I STILL managed to end with a...
